Description

SIMPLE ON THE SURFACE: A family strategy board game for kids and adults that only takes seconds to learn but hours to master. There are no complicated turn phases, there is not a myriad of different things to do, there are no complicated rules which takes 20 minutes to explain, there is only one path to victory and game set-up takes…well no time at all as there is no set-up. Although product information is regularly updated, Aldi is unable to accept liability for any incorrect information. Each player receives a stack of coloured tiles, taking it in turns to place a tile on the table and racing to get five in a row before anyone else.

Children are able to create their own characters, props, and designs to enhance stories within the app.Furthermore, OK Play's truly interactive experience, which encourages creativity and self-expression, also builds self-confidence by centering each individual child in their own stories. There is no board, so you can go off in random directions, and if you run out of tiles you can reposition them. The strategy comes in laying tiles in such a way that your opponent either can’t or misses the chance to block, whilst at the same time not ignoring your opponent’s tiles and letting them create five in a line. If you manager to use all of your tiles and there’s still no winner, you can reposition them one at a time.

OK Play is not going to win any awards for innovative gameplay, or top many best game lists, but it will be taken with you everywhere and probably played more than anything else in your collection! My one gripe with this is that if someone pays 5 dollars for the game, it seems fair not to keep your hints behind an ad wall. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. It also develops social-emotional skills such as empathy, compassion, observation, and self-expression.The components themselves are something to behold as the tiles come on spindles which snap in to a central ‘base’ which has a carabiner style key ring on it. The goal is to make a five tile horizontal, vertical or diagonal line in your colour before the other players does.

This information is supplied for personal use only, and may not be reproduced in any way without the prior consent of Aldi nor without due acknowledgement. But with players blocking you at every turn and a board without any boundaries, winning can go from simple to tricky in a heartbeat. Play offensively, attempting to construct as many lines as possible, or defensively, focusing on blocking players and waiting for your chance to strike when they're not expecting it. It’s the world’s most understood word, which makes it the perfect name for the world’s easiest to understand game. The Pay What you Want model is cool too, and I was happy to support an indie dev making a good game. Rather than passively consuming digital media, OK Play helps kids actively engage in the creative process. And with our new weekly creative challenges feature, kids can proudly display their own creations to the community and learn from each other. These tools enable kids to express themselves, tell their own stories, and create videos that make them feel awesome.
