For easy patterns to try when you’re starting out, it is often best to head to Ravelry, an online community for knitters and crocheters where you can find thousands of patterns for free or just a few dollars. I love the drawn techniques; they make so much more sense to me than descriptions or even watching YouTube videos.

It's just inspiring to dig into these chapters, and it's nice to know that I'll always have this book to turn to when in need.
