I'd been really looking forward to this having seen James and Tricia's interactions in the previous duet that I loved. I wasn't disappointed at all, what a wonderful book full of feeling, emotion and steamy, sexy hot chemistry. My last thing that I will hate on, is the ending. It was the worst, most confusing cliff-hanger I have ever seen. Nothing would ever make me want to continue the series, so the cliff-hanger was just dumb and unnecessary. I already had a soft spot for James and the more we learnt about him, the more I felt sorry for him. He had been through so much with Charlotte and thrown himself into working for his dad and rebuilding his family ties. We get to hear more of his version of the trouble with Sawyer and see him finally maturing and losing his playboy lifestyle. The amount of effort he puts into his relationship with Juliette shows how heartbroken he is from Tricia’s rejection and determined not to be used anymore. And do not get me started on Lex *fans face* I shit you not this guy sounds over the top HOT, these two together are like like panty wetting rabbits on speed!!

Charlotte, I don't know what you're implying, but I don't pay for sex, and I think it's pretty obvious which ones are boys and which ones are girls." We are a society that’s completely obsessed with love. No matter where you look, you’re confronted with images of happy couples and the pressure to pair off. It can be overwhelming and for many of us it results in a compulsive chase that leaves us alienated from our true selves and the things that matter in this. Charlie is so indecisive! She plays around all the time like she knows that she is engaged but if she is having feelings for Lex, then she could have opened up about it with Julian so that he doesn't get broken just like how she was 9 years ago. If she has experienced that trauma so much so that she was admitted to the psych ward, then why the hell does she do the same to Julian?? I know that it was for the plot but there are so many ways this story could be re-written without all the cheating that happened. She literally sleeps with both the guys, kisses both of them, and says "I want you" to both all while being engaged to one. If she needs time to decide, she could have taken it without cheating or indulging sexually with the other one and then lied about it when asked. She also does the same mistake when she was 18 and she plays around with her best friend's brother! She could have been with him if he was single and if everyone was in the know about the relationship including the families of the involved parties! Ok, so I was fully invested into this book up until now, but whoa the drama, piss poor decisions, and overall WTF starts to happen. Let’s just say that Charlotte had me screaming. Two men want her…honestly I think it is because she is a shameless slut! But that aside…she carries on with life with her fiancée as if she is so happy all while banging the hell out of Lex any place, any location, any way! Oh-em-gee, like hello! It's the hottest spot in town right now," he squeals, clapping his hands in delight.Tricia’s life has not been an easy one but she covers her baggage well until she breaks down and tells Janes all her deep kept secrets. This instalment of the story has been about love, trust, fear, heartache and forgiveness. The sexual chemistry between James and Tricia is off the charts and I loved witnessing their relationship as the story progressed. I was rooting for them to be together. I could see just how perfect a couple they would make. Their attraction to each other is undeniable and anyone else simply cannot compete. Is a broken past worth fighting for?? Or is it better to move on with the new and improved type of love? The push-pull was way too much for me. Lex was honestly a man broken. He had loved Charlotte since he was 23 and he wants her, plain and simple. Charlotte, she too wants Lex, but it seem like she only wants him naked. Yea, yea I hear all her griping about being hurt but hey buttercup, you are crushing 2 men!

Unknown to everyone there's a history between James and Tricia. She's everything he wants in a woman, feisty and passionate, but she's also the woman who kept running from him, leaving him shattered every time. Their chemistry is undeniable, but will it be enough?Tricia has issues that she has been living with for a number of years. Sadly her story is someone’s reality and my heart absolutely broke when what she had been through was revealed. I admire her immensely and I sincerely hope that from this moment onwards she can put the pain behind her and use the strength I have seen that she possesses, to change her future for the better. Also, this was juggled between her POV and the POV for the loser she ended up marrying and the writing was so annoying because you’d read it in her POV then read the EXACT same situation/interaction from his POV. There was nothing different, I didn’t need to read 3 chapters of the same stuff from both POVs multiple times. This is turn earned my undying love and support for James, which was further cemented as we got to know him, his damaged heart and self-reproach all carefully hidden by a mask full of confidence trotted out for public show.
