Now, do these shortcomings make the ZERO: RED bad? Of course, not. I had to whip out my trusty Theiaudio Monarch MK1 to zero in on any objections I’m describing here. Oh, and the Monarch MK1 still needs EQ to be as neutral as the ZERO: RED. Bass Eventhough I just got the Moondrop Chu II last week (and also enjoying it). I'm now looking for my Endgame IEM. Currently looking at the Truthear Hexa or the Project Red (Truthear x Crinacle Zero: Red). Inside I’m greeted by the IEMs and a nice pleather case. Inside is the cable and an assortment of ear tips. The ZERO: RED also ships with a 10Ω impedance adaptor for a more bassy sound. In the box One of the reasons headphones and earphones in India are more expensive than overseas is because of the Goods & Services Tax in India.

everything between 80 and 300 hertz. In this area, we’ve got instruments like bass guitar and the low end of aA passive electronic crossover ensures each driver gets only what it needs to perform at its best. The included pouch holds the IEMs comfortably but not much else will fit.

The first section of the frequency spectrum is the sub-bass. Everything below 80Hz is sub-bass, so generally, you Finally, I will only evaluate the Red based on their performance, even though I will explain how it feels and seems physically and aesthetically. The Truthear x Crinacle ZERO: RED is the latest collab between IEM measurement internet celebrity Crinacle and Truthear. Their previous work was the Truthear ZERO which, like the RED, used a duo of dynamic drivers and was tuned to the Harman IEM target. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. Please allow 3-5 business days for mail-in exchanges to be processed.

With ZERO: RED, mids are again relatively neutral, so there’s little else to write home about. There’s not enough resolution to imbue them with the magic that higher-end IEMs often offer. This is the RED on the industry-leading B&K 5128 with a DF + 10 dB slope graph. See here for an explanation of what that means. listening on monitors or headphones. But if you’re listening on a laptop or a phone, there’s no way you will hear Hi guys, I'm new to iems and I want to switch to them from headphones because earbuds are more comfortable to me than headphones for longer periods of time. I was wondering which of the two would be better for me, since they both fit into my budget and I've seen both be recommended for gaming. I mainly play fps games like Valorant, CSGO, and sometimes R6 and Apex, so things like footsteps and clear directional sound or a "wide area"/"field"? type of audio where I can clearly tell where enemies are, are pretty important for my decision.Mid-bass is utterly devoid of body and slam. The bass is thus solely defined by the sub-bass emphasis near 50Hz. As a result of mid-bass hollowness and a near 12dB rise in the upper-mids, midrange is dominated by the upper-registers. Another potential issue for people is the nozzle size. These are massive. My right ear is a good bit smaller than my left, to the point that all IEMs visibly fit differently between my ears. The nozzles on the Zeros almost do not fit my right ear, I can just barely get the foam properly compressed in to get a good fit. If you have really small ears, these might not be for you.

above 10 kHz. This is where we have air and this is where we get a sense of shine and sparkle in our music. Things get very different as we move upward the frequencies, with the BL-05S being far more resolving in treble and mids. Imaging and separation are superior on the BLON as well. get harsh. This region is where we have brittleness from instruments like the Hi-Hats and Cymbals. This is also afor reference, I prefer the tuning of the Tangzu Wan'er and the Moondrop Chu II (since I mostly daily drive the two) because of the detail, Imaging, and sound separation. I'm not much of the bass head, I'm more for the clarity and detail but Bass is still welcome. But I don’t love it. I appreciate it. Though it’s a great listen and there’s little to find fault in its sound, the RED doesn’t enamour me the way Crinacle’s previous collabs like the Moondrop Blessing 2: Dusk and Fearless Dawn did. To use a horrible cliche, the tuning of the RED is like a pair of studio monitors. Not that it sounds like one, but rather that the RED is accurate and timbrally correct in a way that is hard to argue against. But like studio speakers, there’s a reason why the stereo hi-fi industry exists: not everyone wants that. Bass: This is where teh actual differences come out. Despite same architecture of both, the RED has more synergized sound specially in the sub-bass & mid-bass while the sub-bass on the original one may be a bit overwhelming at times.
