Description

Dake’s Annotated Reference Bible contains the Old and New Testament of the KJV Text and is laid out with three columns on each page. About a month or so I just purchased my Dake’s bible and have been more of a blessing than a hindrance and am understanding my purpose in this here temporal life; however some lost soul stole my backpack with it. No one would suggest that he is singularly responsible for the theological mess that floods these churches, but neither should he be excused for his part. Actually, you can never go wrong with a good translation, a Strong's concordance, a pad of paper, pen, open heart with a prayer for God to speak to you as you read. There is a header that includes the book name and chapter numbers that appear on that page, a summary of that page, and the page number.

THE RULE OBSERVED IS: Take the Bible literally wherein it is at all possible; if symbolic, figurative or typical language is used, then look for the literal truth it intends to convey. Dake's notes influenced numerous Charismatic and Word of Faith leaders such as Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, and Benny Hinn. The Dake Bible itself is an extensive work, with some 35,000 commentary notes and over 50,000 cross references, using the King James Version as its basic text.Dake’s Annotated Reference Bible, Finis Jennings Dake, published by Dake Bible Sales, Inc, Lawrenceville, Georgia, New Testament, p. Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? It is not clear how his union with the Church of God ended, but Dake eventually became independent of any church. The Dake Bible was first published in 1961 and is the result of the work of a man named Finnis Jennings Dake (1902-1987), a Pentecostal minister.

In the pages of the Dake Study Bible, thousands of passages are amplified; In the Dake Bible obscure readings are made clear; In the Dake Bible ancient customs are explained, along with matters of history, culture and geography.Isaiah has 39, Daniel has 13, Matthew has 2, Mark has 1, John has 2, Acts has 3, Romans has 3, and Revelation has 13. Certainly the Gnostics confess with their tongues the ONE Jesus Christ, but in their minds they divide Him. Dake not only was confused about the omnipotence of God, but he also taught that man was a miniature of God. This Bible excels at lists and facts and would be a good resource for sermon and class prep, and personal study.

According to this theory of the false teachers, Jesus was united with the Christ at the baptism, but became separated again before the cross. The Dake Annotated Reference Bible by Finis Dake is printed as a King James Version Bible and New King James Version Bible in the standard print and King James Version only in the Large Print Dake Bible. With 35,000 commentary notes, 500,000 cross/chain references and 9,000 outline headings, the Dake Study Notes give you a wealth of resources for personal study. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The Dake features a three column format which clearly separate Scripture from commentary notes on the same page.
