The peony and its dainty freshness combined with an uncanny trio of salacious gardenia, cosmetic iris and that smell which wafts from ripe walnuts, shell intact, seemed to produce dreamy billows of the kind I find in Poison, Amarige and even Paris. Really enjoy the nutty ambered vanilla wood warmth, perked up with some of my fave florals, gardenia, jasmine, honeysuckle, iris and peony. I did get a bit of Cedar but it is like an afterthought on me , I'm thrilled , we don't get along , if it is any heavier it overwhelms any other note and that is all I can smell . s Givenchy was on fire and they blessed the world with a couple of masterpieces, Organza and Insensé, and a dozen of other respectable releases such as Xeryus Rouge, Amarige and Pi. It's a very sexy, bombastic, sensual, feminine and va va voom perfume that I could imagine someone like Raquel Welch or Sophia Loren wearing.The sexy art-deco bottle is irresistable, if not elegant, and the cheerful scent housed within seals the deal. I smelled this eau de parfum today the first time, I wanted to try it because there is walnut in, that´s very interesting for me. The arranging of this milky bouquet with subtle nutty notes and woody facets, then sprayed, covered in a thick layer of vanilla is wonderful. My husband didn't like it and my signatures at that time were YSL Opium and Elizabeth Arden's Red Door.
