Personally, If I want this style of scent, then PDMs Percival is Fierce but more modern with better longevity and quality. The top notes are clean and invigorating with citrus freshness, while the deep base offers warm musk for a truly indulgent olfactory experience. I remember it being a cologne, but there were also other grades available (toilette, eau de parfum, and a body spray - this was as strong as today's cologne). Kenneth Cole mankind ultimate it's a clone which really resemble in the opening, but afterwards it's getting differ ,and not close to this one.

You can wear this to the office, when you're hanging out with friends, on casual days, or even use it as a signature Scent. Notes similar to that found in Fierce ® A Woody Aromatic fragrance that justifies an effortless class. This was the early 2000's Aventus, a hype monster, even people without Internet still heard the hype that's how big this scent was. For me this was a really nice opening that was unique due to the fir note combined with the lemon and or petitgrain.

While I really appreciate Percival in all aspects, I have to say that just comparing the pure smell and the fragrance itself for me Fierce is the better one. It was my brother's that passed away, and am wanting it to go to someone who will appreciate the old vintage formulation. What comes to mind when one thinks about a "blue" fragrance, this rosemary-citrus-aquatic cologne is a bit one-dimensional but has a youthful, masculine appeal. I refused to wear it back then and still won’t (always hated that job), but I encountered Fierce out in the wild recently and I cannot deny that it still holds up.

It IS pleasant, but not something that I will place on the mantle of great male fragrances or seducers nor will it knock perfumes such as Drakkar off of its (then) trendy but freakishly sexy legendary perch. I tried the 2020 batch on skin and compared it to Mont Blanc legend to compare them, I found that 2020 Fierce isn't as bad as I thought it would be based on other reviews.Occasionally I’ll spritz it in my apartment or spray it on when I want to recapture my teenage self. What's even more surprising is this is probably one of the few products keeping Abercrombie's business alive -- why ruin your best product.
