If you are a long time veteran, feel free to use this as a form to discuss with other like minded enthusiasts. One MS-WBC will 'act' on multiple amps which can be helpful when you've got subs and midbass (up to 160Hz) on multiple amps. When I finally pick a DSP unit, and get the rest of my stuff installed, I have an Epicenter going in to correct songs with almost no bass. For example, if you listen to a wide variety of music, you may want more bass when listening to Rap or Hip Hop and less bass when listening to Country or Heavy Metal. It also made it so the bass knob has zero effect on volume level until its 85% turned up and then it increases in volume very quickly until its at max.

Amp remote bass control knobs are generally designed to be compatible with specific amplifiers or amplifier series from the same manufacturer. When you turn the knob clockwise, the bass level increases, and turning it counterclockwise decreases the bass output. Crazy to me that I didn't have this problem with my previous half-bridge amps but now I've tested two full-bridge with the issue. But if you have your bass boost on your amp on then it controls that but for daily applications nobody every uses bass boost.

my question isnt about my amps (I have several - for listening we have an old Sansui Quad receiver - and a car stereo that doesnt even have a knob but has some sort of "bass" level you can change if you scroll thru a menu - not recommended while driving!I will be using a Pioneer 2600-BT head unit with subwoofer control, so that renders the LC-1 style redundant. I'm going to try a ground loop isolater, lots of negative opinions on those but I'm going to test it anyways, mostly out of curiosity. There's a thin line to be crossed, when the upgrades to your vehicle increase your chance to get tickets by an amount exponential enough to stop worrying and build the fastest, loudest car you can. So before you go cranking on your EBC knob, make sure you aren’t sending a square wave to your subwoofers. Knowing that I’ll probably snag one, love my system but it’s a bit overbearing when i wanna play something chill.
