The only thing that I would caution against is using the saw tooth tool to remove old silicone because if, like me, you are not in complete control of it you can scratch other surfaces very easily. I resorted to using a sharp wood chisel to remove the rest of the old silicone. One of my friends is a double glazier of 20 years and even he was surprised how easy Fui's are to use and the qualtiy of the finish!

Brilliant worked wonders on my taps they look brand new I would recommend this spray it’s fabulous thankyou plumbworld I bought this after seeing Charlie DIYte raving about it on his YouTube video. I already have a Fugenboy tool which is similar to this that I was pleased with that but could see the extra advantages of this Cramer tool set whilst watching the video. The guide to span the tile grout lines is particularly useful. So does anyone have any tips for using this kit? The chip is right on an outside edge next to the plughole so would also be difficult to cover up while the paint is setting. I did the repair in the morning after the bath had been used and applied the first coat of paint as soon as it had set (using a hairdryer to speed up the process) so the paint had nearly 24 hours to dry, and we were careful to use the shower as little as possible for a few days. I sprayed on two more coats of paint on successive mornings after we had finished with the shower.

This product removes water Mark's and limescale in a very gentle way, and has kept my tap and sink sparkling clean. I didn't treat the surface as the metal was exposed and appeared to have a fairly rough texture and to be in good condition so I just cleaned it with IPA cleaner, but I guess I should have cleaned it better at least. I was advised by the manufacturer to put masking tape around the damaged area before using the filler to prevent over spread and oversanding on the small repair and this worked well. The difficulty is that it's at the bottom of the bath next to the plughole so is constantly getting wet. I used the product to repair a small gouge/scratch on a fiberglass bath. The damaced area is now as good as new with no sign of a repair. As an inexperienced diyer using this kit was relatively easy. You can achieve amazing results but if you've never been good with silicone sealant I recommend you watch a couple of you tube clips of a guy using this exact profiling tool. He explains everything and shows exactly what you should or shouldn't do. I found it invaluable. Finally, a tool to get behind the very tight fitting taps would have been the icing on the cake. We both know exactly where it was, but struggle to find it! Excellent product which saved us a fortune if the bat had to be replaced, I can recommend this product, it worked very well for us. Works a treat without corroding the taps or your hands. It was recommended to me by the showroom we bought out bathroom suites from & I’ve used it for the last 6 years. As bathroom fitters, we do alot of siliconing. The standard of our installations is high and our customers expect a very high standard in our finishing....Using the fugi makes any silicone job neat and easy. It is very useful for difficult areas as the silicone can be neatly wiped away leaving a neat and tidy seal and finish. Once you use this product you will never use anything else for sealing.. I followed the instructions carefully and used ethyl alcohol to degrease a chip on a ceramic sink. I left the compound in place for 12 hours and then very slowly sandpapered the surface ...do not rush this bit or you can have pullout. I really took my time and then used the finest paper (supplied in the kit) which polishes the surface. The chip is virtually invisible. Needless to say I was pleased. Its a good product .but you really have to take your time. lt;li>Damaged area must be clean, dry and free from grease. Remove loose pieces and rust.</li>
