I really feel as though I have spent the last few months travelling secret islands and discovering new species, searching the grounds of King Cranky’s castle for missing jewels, and exploring the chapters of Okbo’s magic library book. I can’t wait to share those worlds with all of you too! 🙂 Every Puzzle Quest book is a full journey for me as an author and illustrator. To develop a story from initial ideas through to finished adventure, to conceptualise and design custom puzzles to match each theme and section of the story, and to create characters and handdrawn illustrations that tie everything together and encourage young readers to see their quest through from beginning to end – it’s a completely immersive process!
