Description

Everything else remains exactly the same. This would make the perfect gift for any kid who has an awesome interest in the world and who is constantly asking ‘why’ and ‘what’! Trivial Pursuit 2000s Trivial Pursuit Family Edition was launched in 2013 as a special edition of this well-loved board game. While the original game was advised for players aged 16 and over, this edition is suitable for kids from the age of eight upwards. It includes 600 questions for kids and 600 questions for adults, allowing for a fun family night in.

The category for this final question is chosen randomly by the other players, so it may be hit or miss for the player vying to win. A trivia card is chosen, and another player reads the question aloud. If the player trying to win answers the question correctly, they’ve won the game! Trivial Pursuit Featuring the Magic of Disney - Family Edition (1986, partial re-release of 1985 edition in both Master Game and Subsidiary Card Set editions) The object of the game is to move around the board by correctly answering trivia questions. Questions are split into six categories, with each one having its own color to readily identify itself; in the classic version of Trivial Pursuit, the Geography category is blue, Entertainment is pink, History is yellow, Arts & Literature is originally brown, later purple, Science& Nature is green, and Sports& Leisure is orange. The game includes a board, playing pieces, question cards, a box, small plastic wedges to fit into the playing pieces, and a die. Includes: Gameboard, 6 movers, 36 wedges, timer, 500 cards with 3,000 questions, die and instructions Wedge questions are present in bite-size editions of Trivial Pursuit. Since there is no game board, players simply answer questions and collect question cards. If you are the first one to answer 12 questions correctly and collect six cards, you win. In the game, you start with one question. If you answer it correctly, you are given your second question or wedge question. If you get that one right too, you get to keep the card, which is equivalent to earning a wedge in a full-size game.

It’s important to remember that yellow cards are for kids and blue cards are for adults! Don’t go getting those confused as it might lead to a somewhat awful evening. You can, of course, choose to combine the cards depending on the ages of the kids in your group. This would allow for more variety of questions, but wait and see how your children are dealing with the yellow questions before you go mixing it up. This round was played in the same way as Round 1, except the three highest-scoring players won a prize and a chance to play Trivial Pursuit in the next half-hour show.

If you get the answer wrong, leave the center space on your next turn and return later (landing by exact count) to try again. The Trivial Pursuit Master Edition game adds a modern twist to the classic game you love. It will challenge you and fill your head with fascinating facts. Go ahead, impress your friends and have some laughs at the same time! If you've got an eye on the world around you, the Trivial Pursuit Master Edition game is for you.If all the more “seasoned” players are on one team, they could be kind and spot the younger teams the pink pie or even agree not to ask a pink question for the final challenge. Have mercy! BBC Television produced a Trivial Pursuit game show based on the game in the UK hosted by Rory McGrath. Another British version (with rules/format similar to the Wink Martindale version, and also using the same theme tune as the Wink Martindale version) was hosted on The Family Channel (now Challenge) by Tony Slattery. Birgit Lechtermann hosted a version for VOX in Germany from 1993 to 1994.
