Alex deconstructs some of the messaging that has permeated into our collective psyche from being a young woman and how diet culture is a tool of the patriarchy. She shares the importance of recognising and detangling those beliefs whilst also encouraging us to commit to refraining from commenting on people's looks, regardless of the intention. Once Saturn finishes moving through Pisces on February 13, 2026, it shifts into Aries — the first sign of the zodiac, associated with motivation, passion, and determination. And, with this change, a whole new group will begin experiencing their Saturn Return. People born between April 7, 1996 and June 9, 1998, along with October 25, 1998 and February 28, 1999, will be going through their first Saturn Return, while those born in the late 1960s (specifically between March 3, 1967 and April 29, 1969) are experiencing their second Saturn Return, while elders born in the late 1930s and first few months of 1940 will be experiencing the third installment of this transit. I spent my 20s shape shifting through life, going from one career to another, moving countries and changing things up all the time," Caggie admits. "My Saturn return forced me to remain grounded in one version of myself. One of those changes for me was abstaining from alcohol, because that was something I used to alter myself. I just had to start taking responsibility for my life and the things that were happening in it," Caggie explains. Additionally, Caggie encourages you to embrace challenges and failures as catalysts for growth, while also recognising that inner growth radiates an authentic beauty. Speaking up for one's desires and embracing shadow work are key aspects of the path to self-discovery. Ultimately, Caggie extols the joy found in creativity and self-expression as a means to connect with one's inner self and experience transformative personal growth.

Because Saturn is the planet of responsibilities, time, and wisdom, a Saturn Return is, basically, your astrological coming of age. It’s the push you need to enter true adulthood. Saturn demands that you take full and complete accountability for your choices, propelling major — albeit challenging — transformation. Overall I enjoyed the ideas and world that is presented, what makes it worth reading at the moment is the mystery element and how each of the character is more than they appear. Once you understand Saturn's return and how it impacted you in your late 20s, it can help to prepare you for what's to come as you approach 60. "Your second return is more about your legacy that you’re leaving behind. You start having more awareness of your purpose and question if you have been living in alignment over the last 30 years. It’s all about reaping what you sow and considering 'have I been living in a way that’s authentic and truthful for me, and what legacy am I leaving behind?'” How to navigate your Saturn return Whilst some astrology is used to help deepen your understanding of self and your purpose, This isn’t an astrology course. This is a personal development course based on the lessons one encounters during their Saturn Return. It felt like everything was being turned upside down,’ she says of her late 20s, which were spent in LA, where she felt lost and lonely. ‘I’ve always been quite introspective, and I became aware that coping mechanisms, or things that had held me together before, were suddenly not working any more. And they were causing me quite a lot of pain.’Overall, I absolutely loved this book and would recommend it to anyone who is about to start or is currently going through their Saturn Return! Not sure about this one. Main character (Imre Bergamasc) is unloveable, even though there are strong themes of redemption (of him, maybe his other selves, and probably the galaxy) throughout the novel. The span of time that the action takes place over is just a little on the unbelievable side - I just can't bring myself to believe that the kind of things that take decades in other stories really take millenia. Plus, the story is on the slow moving side - yes, it is moving across galactic distances at sub-light speed, and the sory does manage to convey this well, but even so. If you’re in or nearing the end of your 20s, chances are you’re in the middle of an existential crisis or two. And if you’re blaming said post-quarter-life crisis on growing older, burning out at work, increasingly higher bills, a couple of monumental life milestones, or realizing, wait a minute, you didn’t make any “30 Under 30” lists — you’re wrong. The reason is Saturn — more specifically, Saturn Return.

Join us in this episode as we explore Sarah’s journey and uncover the transformative power of living a wild and precious life. All of that, combined with a post-religious social landscape (about a quarter of US adults now say they think of themselves as spiritual but not religious) means that astrology is reaching a new generation of advocates who, even though they don’t believe in a god per se, are searching for a belief system that gives their lives more meaning.Once we've learned these tough life lessons, we emerge from a Saturn Return with healthy, solid foundations and a newfound self-awareness, with which we can begin building our legacy – until the planet has taken another trip around the sun and we experience a second Saturn Return, around the age of 60. Much like the process of an oyster which, when irritated by a grain of sand creates a pearl, it's thought that the hardships we experience help us to blossom. Your Saturn Return is your very own pearl in the making. And when you recognise that, it helps you to lean into the process, rather than resisting it. I loved the inclusion of the instructions on how to read your birth chart (for me: Saturn sits in the sixth house, in the sign of Aquarius at 24 degrees) but I would perhaps have appreciated a little more depth around this - perhaps a chapter solely devoted to reading and understanding your chart, rather than a subchapter. If you find yourself shape shifting to embody the wants and needs of others whilst abandoning your own. The most important piece of advice for navigating your Saturn Return: Embrace it. Trust the process. Do the scary thing and be brave about it. Any attempts to ignore Saturn’s powerful nudges toward personal growth will be futile. On the other side of your Saturn Return, virtually everything in your life will be different, so why not enjoy the ride? Saturn reminds us that through real effort, patience, and practice, we can reap the most extraordinarily gratifying rewards.
