Million Parfum expresses itself to me as the perfect scent to characterize a debaucherous Pattaya/BKK fantasy trip. It is for me also such a fragrance, where I have to smell my arm again and again, over and over again, it is somehow addictive. If you hear the name Paco Rabanne mentioned, the first things that come to mind is their iconic chainmail fashion or of course, their 1 Million aftershave. I can't say anything about the bottle but it looks like a slightly modified One Million Flanker to me.To visualize this fragrance, I think it's essential that you read the description from Quentin Bisch. You'll understand where he's coming from when you smell this—leather, sunscreen, and labdanum. I really like this fragrance. It's unique, there's not a lot out there very close to it. I first tried it when it launched, I sprayed a tester on my arm from Sephora. The strength was unbelievable, one of the strongest fragrances I've ever tried. It smells like white florals, leather and suntan lotion. It's not my favorite scent profile, but it's definitely an interesting one and a unique addition to any collection. I'd say it's best for warm weather because of the tropical suntan lotion vibe it gives. You could argue it'd work for colder weather because of the strength, but I'd feel silly reeking of suntan lotion during Christmas in the snow. I actually kind of want to buy a fb of this fragrance because I think it's just a good and unique spring/summer/fall fragrance because of the uplifting tropical vibes. I think the strength of the fragrance is the only thing that makes it appropriate for cold weather but the smell is more focused on the brightness of the sun. After some time the fragrance becomes a little drier and more masculine. Then the leather comes through to the sweetness. I like it even better from here on.

In conclusion, I was never a big fan of this juvenile design, and if you ask me, it didn’t age well. Even when I was a target population, I found it pretty weird. He probably does not want and makes just therefore so much fun.One of the broader points I'd like to make is that 1M is immediately recognizable as a men's designer fragrance, specifically one whose perfumer has access to high-fidelity materials. It's designer in that it has a metallic, fresh (non-citrus) component when you spray it, and the fixative sillage left behind smells similar to many other designer fragrances. If that sounds like a turn-off, I'd suggest finding an Ulta or Sephora that carries Paco Rabanne and sampling it with a tester or directly on your clothes. This is, undoubtedly, a unique offering, especially under the 1M line, but nevertheless maintains its place as a Paco Rabanne offering. Meanwhile, 1 Million Parfum somewhat mimics the opening of the EDT, but really taking it in a different direction. The opening act is when these two are at their most similar.
