Eventually they get married so that the reputation of the Hill family would be stable and Darla is ofc hating him for this but the tension between them. I could say so much more about this book but all i’m going to say is that it’s definitely worth it, the characters are so easy to fall in love with and i’ve said it before this book isn’t like the typical mafia romance, it’s definitely something new and unique in its own way and i would 100% recommend it :) ! While there were parts of it I wasn't a huge fan about (I saw that plot twist coming a mile away), it made me completely fall in love with the marriage of convenience trope.

It is so well-written and beautifully constructed with the most gorgeous and alluring main male character I've ever read about.
