The FP model Quantum Dot colours, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support, MEMC and a 60Hz refresh rate. Next up is the XLED 1000 Mini LED, which includes 1000 dimming zones. It also features a 144Hz refresh rate, the new platform, Quantum Dot colour support and runs the Google TV interface. Like the XLED 2000, it also has an integrated sound system by Harman Kardon. XLED 300Mini LED If you need to perform a factory reset on your Sharp TV but do not have a remote, you can try the following steps: Working with the 4K HDR screen, Active Motion 600 technology delivers smooth, blur-free motion, especially when watching fast moving sports events and action movies. This Sharp 50 inch TV uses their ACE Pro Ultra picture processing engine for fast and efficient picture processing. Prices valid in stores (all including VAT) until close of business on 25th November 2023. (Some of these web prices are cheaper than in-store, so please mention that you've seen these offers online.)

The new range includes a number of Mini LED displays, along with a new platform for the Mini LED and the FS gaming TVs The display features a 144Hz refresh rate, Quantum Dot colours and Dolby Vision IQ to automatically adjust the picture settings according to the ambient light in a room. The TV features two 50W speakers with Sound by Harman Kardon. Rich, vibrant colour, combined with a smooth response, makes the Sharp 50DL2K the perfect TV for movies, gaming and TV alike. AquoDimming works quite well in premium brands because these modes have quite a number of dimming zones. Unfortunately, the lower end models do not have this feature. Display characteristics

This is a SmartCentral addition that’s available in mid-range and premium-range models such as UE30U and UH30U. It is a notable improvement from the very basic SmartCentral platform, as it offers better functionality and access to apps. It is also very user-friendly, and consumers have access to navigation features and streaming media apps. Since Android TV is a Google Smart platform, consumers also enjoy access to Google Cast and Google Play Games. For the simplest control, this Sharp TV responds to voice command via Google Assistant. Just connect any Google Assistant device (sold separately) and enjoy voice control via Google. Change the volume, channel or power on/off, all by simply asking. Mid-range and premium models offer web browsing through Android TV platform and it works just as well as in other top-shelf brands. Price analysis Famed for their home hi-fi and car audio speakers, Harman Kardon audio technology gives the Sharp 50DL2K sound that’s crisper and better balanced than its rivals. DTS Virtual:X gives a more spacious and enveloping sound – perfect for drawing you in to your favourite movie.

Switch to Game mode and the TV bypasses unnecessary processing, giving you the fastest and most responsive gaming experience. Working with both 4K and FHD games, you get a split second advantage, keeping you one-step ahead. Whilst the functionality and picture of the new one is fine, I regret that the 'Harmon Kardon' sound isn't as good as the 10~12 year old 3D Panasonic 43" it replaced. I guess a sound bar will have to be considered! It’s important to preface this by saying that we’ve not reviewed many Sharp TVs at What Hi-Fi? over recent years and all the advice we have to offer is based purely on specs, design, on-paper features and our vast experience in the TV sector.Software (Central&Eastern Europe) / Software (Slovakia) / Software (Hungary) / Software (Czech Republic) / Software (Ukraine) SHARP ELECTRONICS (ITALIA) S.P.A. Related Articles If you need to reset your Sharp TV after a power outage, press on Menu on your Remote and then on System and then on Factory Reset. Then press on Play or on the OK button three times. If this doesn’t work, then try a hard reset.

If you need to perform a hard reset on your Sharp TV but do not have a remote, you can try the following steps: With Chromecast built-in, it’s easy to mirror content from your smartphone, tablet or laptop. Simply bring up the movie, show, app or game on your device and, within an instant, it’s showing on the big screen. We were given the opportunity to get a first-hand look at all the TVs launching in 2022 and 2023. Here’s what we gleaned about the new features and availability. New TVs for 2022 and 2023 Costco UK's other Sharp TV looks a little more promising. At the other end of the size scale, the Sharp LC-24DHG6131 TV/DVD player combo appears a good match for the set above at Currys but at a more favourable price. VerdictSometimes, Sharp TVs will experience problems with their power supplies. If this is happening, there are several simple troubleshooting steps that can be accomplished to try to overcome this issue. The Sharp Q7300U series of 4K TVs is the one member of the company's Q-series that does come with the Roku TV platform built-in (the Sharp Q7000U and Q7500 series do not). The bonus here is that they’re HDR-compatible and come with a beefier twin 10W speaker set-up.

Finally, Sharp is launching the FS gaming TV. This TV also happens to be the only one outside of Sharp’s Mini LED range that we know will launch with the new platform. Consumers can use basic button remote to manage and control SmartCentral. Unfortunately, this basic remote does not have a numeric keypad, motion controls or a mouse pointer. Therefore, users have to contend without any of the fancy features that are increasingly present in name brand televisions. The TV has a max refresh rate of 144Hz refresh, Quantum Dot colour support, MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) for motion and Dolby Vision IQ, which uses the TV’s sensor to adjust the picture settings depending on a room’s brightness so the viewer can see all the detail within the image.Below the Mini LEDs are the FP and FN series. They share the same design and run on the current Sharp platform instead of the new one. The FP series is the more advanced of the two, as it features support for Dolby Atmos sound, Quantum Dot colours and MEMC motion. FP series HDR10 and HLG formats of HDR come as standard, and the DN series TVs also have Dolby Vision on board. The DN sets also feature Sharp's Active Motion 600 technology, which sharpens up movement and reduces distortions, and 12-bit HDR colour coding to improve the smoothness of shading and reduce banding and colour disruptions common to standard non-HDR sources. The 65-inch model has a slim, full-aluminium body enhanced with a high brightness LCD/LED panel producing 400 nits output. The XLED 2000 is the top-of-the-line Mini LED TV with 2000 dimming zones. The TV runs on Sharp’s new platform, as do the other two Mini LEDs and the FS gaming TV, which includes Filmmaker mode. The XLED 300 has Dolby Vision and Atmos, as well as DTS:X audio support. There’s also MEMC support for motion but this TV runs Android TV instead of newer Google TV. FP and FN series
