The 5-ohm mesh RDL coil works at 18 or 20 watts and is designed to deliver a restricted direct-to-lung hit with lower-nicotine e-liquids. Sadly the instructions do not mention any protections or what the mod will display in the case of a fault. How To Charge The Battery Enjoy amazing Mouth to Lung (MTL) and Restricted Direct Lung (RDL) vaping with the Innokin Sceptre Pod-Mod Even on the boost setting it is just OK. It is not horrendous let me make that clear, but it is just a bit lazy if that makes sense. One of the issues with the original Sceptre that me and many others struggled with was the coil quality.

Power level indicator: The LED on the left is the power level indicator – Purple = high (boost) and Blue = Low (Normal). For RDL Vapers the Sceptre 0.5ohm RDL coil is provided and set the airflow switch to the RDL setting. Only use Lithium Ion rechargeable batteries in devices that have a built in protection circuit board(PCB) that detect shorts, over-discharge, over-charging etc. Use of lithium ion batteries without a PCB may increase your risk or explosion and,or fire. If your Innokin Sceptre is gurgling, the most likely reason is that you’re using too much air pressure when vaping with the device. That’s particularly likely to happen if you’re using the 1.2-ohm mouth-to-lung coil and have the airflow dial turned to the MTL setting. If you puff harder in an attempt to get bigger clouds out of the device, you’ll overwhelm the pod’s capacity to manage airflow and will draw excess e-liquid into the atomizer coil assembly and chimney. The e-liquid caught in the pod’s chimney creates a gurgling sound and may even enter your mouth if you continue puffing too firmly. Always puff gently when using the Innokin Sceptre. If you’re not happy with the device’s vapour production, you can increase the wattage, increase the airflow or switch to the 0.5-ohm coil. Innokin Sceptre Leaking The instructions in the main were pretty good, but yet again information on protections and fault conditions has not been included. Which is a shame as simple faults and the LED displays should be explained so the user can rectify.Incredible build quality – they have been used daily and treated quite roughly and still look immaculate! Charging took a few minutes either side of 2 hours every time with a 2A charging plug. Obviously the charger output is reduced to match the capability of the mod. How To Fill the Pod I am using this on the Boost setting (Purple LED) and the flavour is incredible. It is the only pod kit coil to come close to my beloved Oxva Xlim SE 0.8ohm pods for flavour! The Innokin Sceptre works with two different coils. The kit comes with both coils, giving you an opportunity to try both and choose your favourite. What’s the most stylish vaping device on the market? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but we’d have to say that the lovely Innokin Sceptre deserves a good, long look. The Sceptre is Innokin’s solution for intermediate vapers who want a device that provides an upgrade in performance while maintaining the convenience and ease of use that have made pod systems famous throughout the vaping community.

I've used 80VG juice with the rdl coils and was very pleased with flavour and clouds. I prefer mtl though. I find 50/50 juice works best for that. The button might seem in an awkward place considering it's on the side when you hold it but I don't use it when vaping. Only to switch it on and off. The device activates when you inhale and I prefer it that way. I've found on rdl it can be a bit temperamental and not activate but that could also be because I'm not used to rdl. Works perfectly on mtl. I also love the long battery life – it seems to take forever for the battery LED to change from Green!Fully open this is definitely more of a RDL (Restricted Direct Lung) but again the auto draw still copes with the airflow increase.

The pod is refillable via the side fill port and the coil is replaceable.
