Before their conversation can continue, Yamazin leaves to oversee Reginlaze Julia's repairs as Julieta ponders her words. Although he may tend to be impulsive as a pilot, he can still surprise the enemy at times, such as when he grabbed Mikazuki Augus' Gundam Barbatos with the wired claw of his Schwalbe Graze and tried to drag him down. In his Gundam Kimaris and later the Gundam Kimaris Trooper, Gaelio was capable of holding his own against Mikazuki, despite latter's use of the Alaya-Vijnana. The Gundam Vidar last saw action during McGillis' coup d'etat of Gjallarhorn. After understanding McGillis' reasons behind reforming Gjallarhorn and revealing his true identity as Gaelio Bauduin, Vidar challenged him to a duel but was interrupted by Mikazuki Augus in the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex. After a brief battle against the Barbatos Lupus Rex using the Alaya-Vijnana Type-E, Vidar retreated to the Arianrhod Fleet's flagship where Gundam Vidar's armor and third Ahab Reactor were removed and retrofitted into the ASW-G-66 Gundam Kimaris Vidar.

[4] [6] Later on, he dons a mask with a wig on it, becoming Montag and appearing in front of Kudelia Aina Bernstein and Fumitan Admoss to convince them to leave Dort 3, and informing them it was Nobliss Gordon who sent the weapons for the workers' coup d'état via Tekkadan. He also revealed that Fumitan is an agent of Nobliss. Julieta later requested to be the test pilot for the new Mobile Suit. Rustal is hesitant about allowing her to do, but relents and agrees to it. He then reminds her that she's already strong enough in his eyes and that he has a different path envisioned for her. This shows that Rustal seems to view her as more than just a tool despite that being what Julieta wishes to be for him.

As a reference to the series, McGillis dons a Montag persona similar to Suzaku sporting Zero due to the fact that they have masks that represents them as a Char Clone. McGillis has some similarities to Suzaku as both are willing to betray their friends to gain power to change their nation. Both have an ally who would later turn into an enemy Shin Hyuga Shaing/Gaelio Baudauin (Vidar) who shares the same Seiyuu.

Bael is the first demon of the Ars Goetia. He is the head of the infernal powers. Bael is first king of Hell with estates in the east. He has three heads: a toad, a man, and a cat. He also speaks in a raucous, but well formed voice, and commands 66 legions of demons under his rule. The red indicator lights of the Alaya-Vijnana Type E maybe a reference to EB-AX2 Graze Ein's red monoeye. While mourning the loss of Crank, Ein would meet and befriend Gaelio Bauduin who, despite his noble standing, treated Ein as an equal. Ein appreciated Gaelio's kindness and while he was still dedicated to revenge, he swore to give his all to his new friend. True to his word, Ein was severely injured protecting Gaelio and eventually underwent the Alaya-Vijnana surgery himself to gain an edge against Tekkadan so that he could avenge Crank. Unknown to Ein and Gaelio, they were just pawns in McGillis's plan.
