Also this reminds me of la petite robe noire intense for some reason -the blue one-. I know cherry is not listed but I feel like this has some sour cherry syrup. On my clothes it remains a little more fruity sweet. It’s almost like two different scents that smell great together. These are different, but there are similarities with grape-leaning jasmine. TOOI has a more forward sweet-creamy quality among other things. Both have excellent performance, but newer batches of reformulated Alien can be variable. It seems that coffee, vanilla and caramel are the queens of evening autumn/winter fragrances. Together, they can be sexy, skanky, classy or comforting. Dolce and Gabbana's The Only One is one of those fragrances that can be all of the above, and excellently so. It's a lovely, gooey gourmand, a more sophisticated step-up from a caramel frappuccino, tamed and classed up by powdery, cosmetic-esque notes like iris and rose, and grounded by a little patchouli. The coffee-vanilla combo comes out front in center, but not in an obnoxious way, but rather in a comforting and welcoming way.

The Only One 2 by Dolce & Gabbana is a sweet fruity fragrance. It is quite strong, but not too overpowering. I used three sprays on my arms. D&G The Only One INTENSE has not much in common with its previous 'the only one' flankers imo. - I think, it is the the best of all the flankers, as it seems to be the most grown. You know when brands bring out “intense” and “extreme” versions of perfumes and it’s a total lie? This isn’t one of those. It’s intense and it means it. If you prefer to go unnoticed and under the radar, don’t buy this one, it’s got presence. Reminds me of a warmer version of La Nuit Tresor Nude, except with white flowers instead of rose. I own both, and while I'll use my bottles up, I don't think you need to have both of these perfumes in your collection. Update; it’s like a cross between Crystal Noir (dark white floral-coconut aspect) and Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle (creamy, smooth vanilla aspect). Ofcourse the quality of this scent is not on par with Dior’s sadly discontinued Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle, this one has great projection for a few hours but fades soon after, HP Sensuelle lasted over 12 hours on me, The Only One Intense has moderate longevity on me, about 5-6 hours…maybe it’s my nose? Anyhow, if you’re a fan of Dior’s Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle and you like Crystal Noir EdP but cannot wear it due to the spices, then you need to atleast test this fragrance.I've seen comparisons of this frag to YSL Libre Intense, so I knew I had to grab it because it's my signature scent. They share a lot of the same notes (mandarin, jasmine, orange blossom, vanilla) so the composition is quite similar, but they're different enough to own both. When I compare it to LI, it's more lavender-forward, whereas I get more coconut in TOOI. White floral mixed with vanilla overall, not too strong, and definitely not headache-inducing. I don't get the apple note, though it does kind of "sparkle" in the opening, which makes it kind of remind of the OG Libre. It has the same vibe as LI, very deep, sexy, and cozy, something you could wear in warmer months but I don't think this is necessarily a S/S frag either. The bottle itself is very chic, I think, and tells you what kind of frag this is. Such a gorgeous formulation. Well done D&G! Despite being advertised for women, I believe men can also enjoy this one. It is really yummy and works well in colder weather or in air-conditioned environment.

Update: okay so I’ve given this some wear and it does settle nicely and is wearable in summer. My complaint is that the middle, which is my favorite part, only lasts an hour or so. I’d say this only projects for 3-4 hours which is surprising for being the ‘intense’ version. The burnt caramel note emerges as it dries down, rounding out the base, a logical progression from the vanilla-coffee accord. The syrupy florals remain and a cloud of patchouli punctuates it with earthiness as it fades, becoming a sweet musky skin scent. Sillage is moderate and longevity is long-lasting. Oh, and there is Coconut, yes, but It's not overwhelming. (I actually don't like Coconut in fragrances, as Coco tend to smell "burnt" or playdough-like on my skin.) - And with this D&G scent I do get a tiny bit of something "burnt" for a short time, which is not bothering me at all. These are different, but there are similarities with sweet & creamy white florals. AGI has a forward beachy quality that's dialed way down in TOOI. When the beachy quality is coming forward in AGI, more grape-leaning jasmine is coming forward in TOOI Roughly equivalent performance. Have been on the lookout for something similar but a bit more elevated and long lasting and with Only One Intense I've finally found it! Last night I've sprayed it on myself for the first time after buying it and in an hour was sniffing around, thinking, why do I feel so nostalgic and comforted? Oh, sweet sweet warm hug in a modern robe, couldn't be happier. If you like gentle, sweet, sexy, cozy orientals give this a try✨These are different, but there are similarities with creamy, sweet white florals. Rouge Malachite has a more forward tuberose, while TOOI has a more forward jasmine. Both have excellent performance. I have never tested this but it sounded like I’d like it so I had to treat myself lol. The initial spray smells of intense berries and powder. Reminds me of boujee skin care products. To me, it smells really good but not unique. But hey, sometimes all you need is a safe fragrance but with a twist. This screams to my a very flirtatious woman that either could be very serious one minute & turn very quirky and bubbly the next?? Update : There is a really nice almost cotton candy like sweetness there in the dry down which is lovely, however the powder still kind of over powers it. I think id be in love if it wasn't for the strong powderines. I truely get why this is loved by many, dupe or no dupe, and if you love apple, bob's your uncle. Objectively, it's a nice one, but for me, it remains a no after thorough testing because of that darn apple note. 🤢 Having said that, the best that D&G has to offer today. Imo.

First spray is soft, mouth-watering coconut, a hint of apples, delicate orange blossom and Jasmine. Very beautiful, elegant and mysterious. It smells expensive. The juice matches the gorgeous bottle. on me its the rich red rose , red berries for sweetness & the violet for that creaminess & the oh so beautiful amber drydown........and its kind of oddly addicting lol :) The dry down on this is 95% Far Away by Avon! I'm SO HAPPY❤️❤️❤️ The initial spray is a bit more sexy but after an hour or so it's almost as I'm smelling my forever love again🥰 I first met Far Away in kindergarten when some of my teachers were (I guess) doing/buying Avon and they left one of the catalogs in for us to look at the pictures. On the first sniff in the store the sales lady gave me 4 sprays on my left wrist and I fell in love immediately with this scent. It just filled me with happiness and energy and I kept sniffing my wrist the entire day because it kept getting my attention, poking my interest. This really is warm and cozy and just plain simple happy. I think this is such a huggable scent, you know? Like I'd love to smell this on someone when I hug them, or for someone to smell it on me when they hug me. This lasts amazingly well, and while I love it on its own, I find that it layers amazingly well with CH Good Girl, or Lancome La Nuit Tresor and my favourite - with Swiss Arabian Casablanca. The woody aspect of the last one especially is the perfect compliment to the sweetness of The Only One. To me this is elements of Armani Code mixed with Dolce Garden’s neroli and coconut with a dash of Alien’s jasmine. The thing is, what is it with D&G and the apple note? Did they buy the stuff in large barrels in the nineties and still need to get wrid of it? Lol. It get's me so nausiated. 🤢
