If Sinatra’s musical career had its ups and downs, his personal life was a blur. Married four times – to Nancy Barbato, Ava Gardner, Mia Farrow and Barbara Marx – he is said to have had hundreds, if not thousands, of other lovers, among them Marilyn Monroe, Lauren Bacall, Judy Garland and Lana Turner.

Recommendations for preserving the whiskey’s quality over time To preserve the integrity and quality of the Sinatra Century edition over time, it is essential to store it under proper conditions. The whiskey should be kept in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperature fluctuations. Additionally, ensuring an airtight seal on the bottle prevents oxidation and helps maintain the whiskey’s original character. By adhering to these storage recommendations, whiskey enthusiasts can ensure that the Sinatra Century edition remains a treasure to be enjoyed for years to come. John F. Kennedy (1917 to 1963). Among his leisure pursuits, the 35th President was a collector of scrimshaw, pieces of whale bone or ivory that were engraved with pictures and designs, most famously by New England whalers. Highlights of his collection were on prominent display in the Oval Office during his presidency. In fact, Lugosi would go on to portray Dracula or Dracula-like characters on stage and in several more films, including the 1948 comedy Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein and the posthumously released Plan 9 from Outer Space, widely considered one of the worst movies of all time.Born in Hoboken, New Jersey, to Italian-American parents, the young Sinatra loved big band jazz and idolised Bing Crosby, but was expelled from high school for ‘general rowdiness’ and took jobs as a newspaper delivery boy and in a shipyard before beginning to make a living as a singer. The bottle design of the Sinatra Century edition is a work of art in itself. Inspired by the sleek elegance of Sinatra’s iconic style, it exudes timeless sophistication. The deep amber hue of the whiskey is beautifully showcased in a crystal decanter, adorned with a metal plaque bearing Sinatra’s signature. Each bottle is presented in a specially crafted gift box, further enhancing the overall luxurious presentation. It is a collector’s item that pays homage to both the whiskey within and the legendary artist who inspired it. Fink, a former newspaper columnist, was a teenager when he sat with mobsters at a ringside table to see Sinatra perform at the famed 500 Club in Atlantic City, NJ. If Dahl didn’t grow up to become a chocolate inventor, he did remain a chocolate lover. He is said to have kept a red plastic box stuffed with chocolates, which he’d offer to guests after every meal, or simply eat by himself if he was dining alone. The box is preserved at the Roald Dahl Museum archives in the village of Great Missenden, north of London. The line was a reference to their 1944 film, To Have and Have Not, loosely based on an Ernest Hemingway novel, and the first movie to pair the then 43-year-old Bogart and his 19-year-old future wife. Though the quote in the inscription is often cited as a line of dialog from the movie, what Bacall’s character actually says would have required a much bigger whistle: “You know you don't have to act with me. You don't have to say anything, and you don't have to do anything. Not a thing. Oh, maybe just whistle. You know how to whistle, don't you, Steve? You just put your lips together and blow.”

Arnett made three batches at varying levels of bold and flew to LA to meet with the Sinatras. Sitting around the kitchen table, they tasted the various whiskeys together. The one the family selected? “It was the one we thought was the most interesting,” Arnett recalls, “the highest level of the Sinatra barrel in it, biggest and the boldest.” Crafting the Sinatra Century edition required an unparalleled level of expertise and patience. The whiskey undergoes a meticulous distilling process, combining the traditional charcoal-mellowing method and aging it in specially crafted Sinatra barrels. This distinctive approach imparts a unique character to the whiskey, resulting in a flavor profile that is rich, smooth, and remarkably harmonious. Records the default button state of the corresponding category & the status of CCPA. It works only in coordination with the primary cookie. Arnett likes to think that Frank would be smiling about it, “telling everyone that he had a whiskey with his name on it and showing it to everyone.”

The Art of Savoring Sinatra Century

His vocal range and the quality of his phrasing and timing was all the more remarkable, given that he never learned to read music, and endured hearing problems from birth thanks to a perforated eardrum.

Houdini’s coffin was a specially designed solid bronze model with a hermetically sealed inner liner that he had used underwater in his act. As The New York Times reported, Houdini had it “made to prove his contention that any one could live without air for an hour if they did not let fear overcome them. It was his expressed wish that he be buried in this coffin.”Now, he has two. To mark the Chairman of the Board’s 100th birthday on December 12, the master distiller collaborated with the Sinatra clan to create Sinatra Century, released in October. The concept is simple: “100 barrels at 100 proof for his 100th birthday.” Partly, this hard-living behaviour was fuelled by an insomniac dread of solitude and the hours of darkness. Barbara Sinatra writes: A particular favorite was a 9 1/2-inch-long whale tooth, engraved with the presidential seal by the scrimshaw artist Milton Delano. First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, who had commissioned the piece, gave it to her husband for Christmas in 1962, the last Christmas he’d live to see. It was buried with him in Arlington National Cemetery after his assassination the following November.
