If anything, you will lift the end of the tent closer to the car slightly off the ground when you open the tailgate, but I had some wiggle room on my Sharan, so the additional 16cm won’t stretch it too much – or you let it slide up on the bumper, so it will hang on the tailgate basically. Ventilation and Rain: One user pointed out that the tent design could be improved for rainy weather.
