I replaced both parts on mine and it now works. (I believe it was the front thermostat which was faulty) A broken or worn drive belt is generally the cause of a drum that is failing to turn when the motor is functional. Attempting to turn the drum by hand will establish whether the belt is in good condition - if the drum is difficult to turn then the belt is working, but if the drum turns with little resistance the belt needs to be replaced. A belt in working condition should be taut around the drum, so bear this mind when fitting a new one. Get the Beko tumble dryer Element you need to repair your Beko tumble dryer. Thank you Chris, I had already cleaned the condensor and filter so I can eliminate that. The problem happened suddenly so i guess that also removes the filter from the suspect list. Thank you There could be a number of reasons, please see our video for help http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/careandmaintenance/how-to-diagnose-tumble-dryer-drying-and-heating-problems Over time, heater elements degrade due to heating, cooling, strain, or mineral deposits from hard water. Indicators like insufficient heating, longer drying times, inadequate heat production, cold spots on clothes or the drum, visibly damaged elements (burn marks, breaks, or corrosion), and a malfunctioning thermostat signalling temperature regulation issues indicate the need for heater element replacement. Is it a genuine spare part? I have a Beko DCU 7230 that turned but did not heat. I pressed/wiggled the reset button, lightly tapped the themostats with a screwdriver, wiggled connections, cleaned water tank, filters, condenser unit and then held the start button for a few seconds. Not sure which one was effective but it is working fine now. Thanks.SPOILER ALERT * The problem in my case was eventually solved simply by holding the Start button for ten seconds. :-) This section contains heater elements for Beko tumble dryers but you will see heating elements for other brands listed as they are crossovers with Flavel and Blomburg.

Electrical current passes through the heater element when the tumble dryer is turned on. Resistance that the current encounters as it travels through the wire causes it to become heated up. The air around the area is then heated, which dries the clothing. When do they need to get replaced? This heater element is a high quality replacement spare part manufactured by a Partscentre Approved Supplier.Other Beko sensor dryer common faults include leaks from the condenser or the water tank. The condenser located at the bottom left of the appliance does need cleaning monthly – but extra care has to be taken when refitting the condenser in its housing as doing this incorrectly can cause more leaks. If this is a persistent problem it will need an experienced repair technician to provide a solution.
