Description

The gear box UT002 is the same gear box that I currently have in my Ultima and i have a spare gear box I just found in the old parts box so from the list I got from here http://www.kyosho.com/jpn/support/instr ... A_spop.pdf https://www.hobbytown.com/castle-creations-sidewinder-3-wp-1-10-esc-motor-combo-5700kv-cse010-0115-06/p618577 I have seen some very nice picture of old Kyosho cars on this forum and that is what I am aiming for with my cars!!! Maybe one day I will get a grandson that is not destructible as my sons were well still are, and I can pass these cars to him one day Body from the Tomahawk is included, which is as per the World Champion machine. Original as well as commemorative decals are also included.

What with all of the rumours of Kyosho restructuring and the possibility of the Legendary Series being scrapped, I feared that the Turbo Optima would be the last one that we would see. Gear module has been changed to 48-pitch from the original model’s 8-pitch to deliver reduced drive loss. In addition to the newly designed 46 nylon 57T 1st gear, all other gears are upgraded to the sintered metal gears from the OPTIMA. Upgrade with optional diff OTW101 to improve driving feel.

is there a parts list or a part number for this re re trans?? somewhere i can look it up at?? Thank got for having you own computer so you can hide what you buy from your wife Ya well I am old enough I don't care how loud my wife BARKS now besides she is getting new carpet but I got to pay for it !! so she can bark all she wants to!!!! I burned the dog house down!!! This design was so successful that Associated kept it in production for twelve years, making running changes and improvements along the way. This RC10 is a hodgepodge of leftover parts; ten or twelve years ago, I bought two large lots of broken and used RC10s, about ten cars in total, along with boxes of parts. I restored and sold nearly all of them, and built myself three examples using the leftovers, because I don’t really care about originality; I just want to drive them. The car was driven by the Norwegian Eivind Loyd Pettersen, at the time the owner of the Norwegian Serpent, Basilisk, Tomo, CRP, Thorpe, Mirage, JG and Associated distributor. Jay Halsey came in a very close second with his RC10. So though the Scorpion was outdated at the time the RC10 was released, it still had a chance in the hands of talented mechanics and drivers for some time. Started to assemble the slipper clutch this morning and I might get the updated pads from the Scorpion. Is an option and seems to make sense with my planed motor setup.

is that aluminum chassis heavier then this pro graphite Chassis or is it better then the graphite ? does it use the same body as the ultima pro??

Yes I know they are old but both are in good shape! I found the trunk they were stored in for years after cleaning out the shop after the Beachi creek forest fire he in oregon. So i got to thinking about updating both of them??? I have two 30 plus year old Kyosho RC cars one is an Optima that was a chain drive that has been swapped over to a belt drive, and a Ultima that has a graphite chassis with a front red aluminum nose piece that the front steering is screwed onto. Toe angle settings on the rear hub carriers can be set to 1.0°, 2.0°, 2.5°by replacing resin bushings. Detailed settings can be adjusted according to the specific racing conditions.

Unassembled chassis kit includes wheels and tires for front and rear, unpainted body, and rear wing.

Optimized geometry with aluminum steering link and metal bushings in combination with the servo saver incorporating aluminum tube and metal spring design used in current racing buggies, delivers stable and precise steering feel. Upgrade with optional ball bearings and titanium adjust rod 50mm (No.92416). These days I started with a DT-03, and may end up at a Dirt master. I still play Battletech, on the computer. Oh yeah and I have a wife... Polycarbonate rear wing and side plates have been recreated as per the original JJ specifications. The large side plates deliver improved stability to fully recreate the style and drive feeling of the original. I'd say they's an evolution change just between them. The Turbo Scorpion sat at the top of the trailing arm/metal suspension era. On the right surface, in good hands it could still hang with the RC10, but the RC10's design was still clearly the way forward (from a performance perspective). The Ultima on the other hand, was Kyosho's step toward making a car more in line with the RC10. The RC10 was completely dominant in the US until the Ultima came out. The Ultima remained its only real competition until the JRX2 was released.

After the Maxxum FF Akira Kogawa left Kyosho but the next seven buggies are still evolutions of the classics: like all good things I got Married and these cars got well stored the new wife said to sell them! " Your to old to be playing with kids stuff !! " are fist son got old enough so I gave them to him! Well he was not very kind to these cars and when he broke them Yes, indeed, I saw the same with the Turbo Scorpion and the Javelin. If you have something left, it is because you forgot it during the mount, or that they was a choice within the mount that justifies it. Soft front and rear tires are included for racing performance. Inner sponges are also built into the front tires and deliver powerful grip and control.

PAINT

First spin in my living room and I'm blown away.....drives in a straight line, just like on rails. No adjustment required apart from the rear spring spanner. So how big of a problem would it be to do this Aluminum chassis and do i understand this right if going to a brushless motor a new trans would be needed? if so what would be needed for the trans?? Gunmetal anodized aluminum motor guard is laser-printed with the Kyosho 60th anniversary logo, which is exclusive to the special limited-edition model. The front skid on the carbon chassis improves clearance over surface gaps while front caster angle setting optimizes handling characteristics. Then after an hour of dry time, two layers of white and after another hour two layers of bright silver
