Really enjoyed this, pacing was good, characters were complex, I enjoyed the way the MMCs perspective is told through confessional monologues I haven’t come across this before and it was refreshing. Emotions from past incidents of words spoken or of actions may arise as anger, resentment or hatred at any given time when triggered by related feelings or incidents.

The story is narrated through 3rd person POV and 1st person POV and it is done neatly and was fitting for the story. The seed pod that forms once the flower has finished is hard and woody and has 2 prominent horns which resembles our human perception of a devil; hence the name given to this plant. The stalking here was mostly finding things out about her through gossip or as him as a person and not his nightly persona.House Plant Hobbyist LLC is rolling out a new app and you can sign up to be an early adopter and beta tester. rumi’s job as a scribe is literally described as a commoners job and every time alina talks about how smart rumi is, it sounds like she’s in awe at her ability to learn anything at all.

He knows that he kills people and describes that in another part as well, where he teaches the priest the difference between a gun and a knife. She was a widow at 22, a Russian countess living among the English, and a nurse by trade hoping to become a doctor.Maybe that’s because love is supposed to take centre stage - but even the romance wasn’t good enough to “save” the book. Devon is ruthless, manipulative and terribly privileged; he's the literal personification of the Devil. If you’re a Harry Potter fan you remember how unruly these little plants were and can imagine how they might be connected with some sort of devilry.

Read more about the condition Very Good: A book that has been read and does not look new, but is in excellent condition. Dark in an almost didactic way, the story brings the reader to a point of questioning morality, both public and private. He kissed every finger, then buried his mouth in her palm and kissed the sensitive skin in the center, then did the same to the other one.
