The Gripper is a great addition to any workshop that has a table saw, router, jointer - almost any power tool where your hands could get near the cutters. I do a lot of cutting of 'small' pieces on my table saw - to build boxes, small projects, smaller cabinets, cut blanks for pen turning, toys, Christmas ornaments - lots.
