The Heiniger Saphir clipper is a VERY quiet, lightweight clipper which has minimal vibration and is exceptionally smooth running. On the subject of blades, Heiniger do not make A5 type detachable blades and whilst not confirmed we suspect due to the close collaboration between Heiniger and Aesculap they are in fact Aesculap made blades. Certainly apart from the name “Heiniger” over stamped on the blade, the appearance is identical Looks wise it is very similar to the Heiniger Saphir. It is ergonomically designed, quite small and comfortable to hold - but it has a new colour and the battery indicator and speed switch.
