I'm really expecting NECA to put out a second version with a few new portraits and some of those missing extras: The Necronomicon/ Naturom Demonto, the dagger, the shovel, and the axe from the film.

The 7” scale figure is highly articulated and comes in collector-friendly deluxe window box packaging with opening flap and bonus lenticular cover. They mention that it is a great figure, has an amazing likeness, and comes with some really good accessories. Everything is done very professionally with this company and always lets you know every step of the process. They mention that it comes with some really good accessories, such as an amazing likeness and all the interchangeable weapons. But NECA’s been good about doing the creatures in this one, as this is the third version of the Demon Spawn.My only complaints are the obvious omissions of the other mainstay characters, Kelly, Pablo, and Ruby. I couldn't tell you what Ash's shoes looked like in the first movie off hand but this seems to be a pretty good replica of them as far as I can tell.

Once again, NECA has worked their magic and added a couple of excellent figures to this short-lived, but much appreciated, series.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. They are collector friendly and look great all lined up on the shelf, but sadly I won’t be able to keep these figures boxed because of space limitations, so I’m just going to tear right into them.

Hero Ash comes with two interchangeable head sculpts, alternate mechanical hand, and shotgun that fits in a back holster. The likeness of Ash was just not there although hey did a nice job on Evil Ash and the Pit Deadite figures.It's not the most poseable (is that even a word) figure, but it's not like Ash would be doing bakcflips. The elbows are the site of the second issue I have with this figure, too: The range of motion there is fairly limited.
