About this deal

Similar to Nemo's Blu-ray, we get another set of Living Aquariums ("Sea Grass," "Open Ocean," "Stingrays", and "Swim to the Surface") that loop a series of scenic animated clips designed to act as screen savers or background ambiance, Finally, a set of four International Trailers (USA, Japan, Spain, and Russia, 7:47 total) rounds out the package. A cereal themed to the film was released by Kellogg's, consisting of naturally sweetened oats with fish-shaped marshmallows.

Piper (6:04)- I literally don't think there's anyone in the world who didn't love Finding Dory's accompanying short film Piper. Kenneth Turan of the Los Angeles Times gave the film three-and-a-half out of five, saying "The best break of all is that Pixar's traditionally untethered imagination can't be kept under wraps forever, and "Nemo" erupts with sea creatures that showcase Stanton and company's gift for character and peerless eye for skewering contemporary culture. We watched this on New Year's Eve and whilst we all enjoyed it I personally didn't think it was as good as finding nemo, let's be honest it takes quite a lot for a film to get five stars and all though this was enjoyable it didn't quite make it. There should be no question at this point that Pixar is at the very least capable of delivering a picture that is visually stunning, emotionally engaging and usually solid on humor.s clever humor, but kids will identify with the spunky sea fish Nemo, and adults will relate to Marlin, Nemo's devoted dad. Then just select Finding Dory from within your collection and you'll be able to view all the bonus content! These scenes---which include "Losing Nemo" (5:03), "Sleep Swimming" (3:00), "Little Tension in Clown Town" (7:31), "Meeting Hank" (3:25), "The Pig" (2:05), "Dory Dumped" (5:47), "Starting Over" (22:16, a collection of unused prologues), and "Tank Gang" (15:55, a sub-plot featuring characters from Finding Nemo)---are presented in rough or storyboard form with music and voices; the one exception is "Sleep Swimming", a fully finished clip that was partially used for an early trailer.

Finding Dory doesn't quite reach the heights of its predecessor or Pixar's best films, but it's a thoroughly entertaining and fun adventure that does not sully the brand or disappoint at all. The idea for the initiation sequence came from a story conference between Stanton and Bob Peterson while they were driving to record the actors. I love Finding Nemo, it has always been a favourite of mine, and Dory has always been my favourite character. Dory in her supporting role in the original film was fine, but here she is incredibly annoying, and there are far too many irksome and repetitive scenes that highlight her inadequacies. Subtitles: Canadian French, English Hard of Hearing, Latin American Spanish DVD Regions: Region 0 (All) Formats: Pal Aspect Ratio: Widescreen 1.

The shark they had used on set was nicknamed "Bruce" after Bruce Raiman, who was Steven Spielberg's divorce lawyer.
