About this deal

With one application of our leather dye, you will start to see the colour reinstated back into the leather, further applications can be added to darken the finishing result. The balm, which comes in 16 different colors, applies like a thick paint: You take one of the two sponges that are included, and you simply apply a small amount to the part of the leather that's damaged. As saddlers, we work with a lot of leather products that have been well-loved and been out in the elements.

You must also ensure that when buffing the balm, that no colour residue is coming back of on to the cloth, then you know the balm is fully set and no excess is left on the surface. It works great for restoring the colour back to any leather item which may have suffered from colour fading due to exposure to sunlight or direct heat, worn, minor damage and/or slight cracking.

EASILY MATCH YOUR LEATHER COLOUR: Quick and easy to use, there are 16 colour choices available to match every shade. A. Yes, as it soaks into the leather, the Balms natural properties will keep the leather soft and supple, which in turn will condition the leather to a certain degree.

To add further protection, we recommend applying our Leather Protection Cream as this will help protect the leather and give further colour fastness. If the water is absorbed into the leather, and the color of the leather surface darkens, this means your leather is absorbent. The Re-Colouring Balm will work on non-absorbent leathers if the surface of the leather has been scuffed or scratched; showing a lighter colour beneath. Our Re-Colouring Balm is designed to cover multiple shades of any colour, and so will blend in as it is applied. NOTE: For lighter patches, the Re-colouring Balm will only work if it is able to soak into the leather – to test this, put a tiny drop of water onto the damaged area and see if it soaks in. Only one application is necessary, after you recolour the leather once, it stays looking new, there is no need to re-apply the balm. You should buff the leather with a clean, dry cloth until there is no colour transfer showing on the cloth.
