About this deal

My old qck+ limited 4mm wore down quite fast, so I’m hoping the gigantus v2 will keep a consistent glide a bit longer. The Logitech G640 Cloth Gaming Mouse Pad’s cloth surface provides the ideal friction for low-DPI gaming, improving mouse control and the precision of cursor placement. Logitech are known for inventing and optimizing technology by manufacturing their own sensors for keyboard switches and developing software for their products. The logo in the bottom right is painted\stamped on and does give you a different surface feel when your mouse goes over it. A mousepad is something that’s often an afterthought for a lot of people, but it really shouldn’t be.

G640 features a surface heat-treated at 200° C to provide just the right amount of friction for low-DPI gaming manoeuvres. Whether using an optical or laser mouse, G640 gives gamers access to enhanced sensor accuracy and precision. It is (it depends on your preferences of course) but if you’re looking for a faster pad with a low sens and low DPI you might want to look elsewhere (perhaps at the Endgame Gear Cordura pads or something like that). Often, it causes the sides of the pad to curl up when you lay it out flat on the desk, and you have to put in a bit of effort to flatten it out completely – unsuccessfully, in some cases.

For alternatives you could consider the Artisan Zero line (though that’s extremely expensive and hard to get) or the Xraypad Aqua Control+.

It’s the average thickness for many other regular mousepads out there – not very thick but not the thinnest either. If you have a cloth pad and its black when you will know that these show dirt very fast and is one of the reasons I have been using a hard surface for the last year. Because of the great longevity of the glide itself (you don’t need to wash the pad a lot at all) it’s a bit of a bummer that there are no stitched edges to further reinforce the ‘this pad will last’ feeling, but that’s obviously always something that can be improved on in the future. Everytime I run over that logo while trying to shoot someone when I'm double jumping as Scout in TF2 my aim gets totally thrown off. The only problem I have with this pad is that the "Logitech G" logo at the bottom right corner is annoying as hell as it is printed on the pad itself (unlike my QCK+ Fnatic edition where the logo feels like its part of the pad).
