We’ve seen quite a few sets based on these films now that were recently revealed by the LEGO Group, from the 8+ set 76259 Batman Construction Figure to the more complex 18+ set of 76252 Batcave – Shadow Box. That’s if this set exists at all: while usually reliable, third-party retailers have been known to get things wrong before, so don’t get your hopes up until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group. Despite containing only 40 pieces, 30653 Batman 1992 packs a huge punch and will please any fan of the World’s Greatest Detective. And yes, in case you were wondering, the minifigure is identical to the Batman from 76252 Batcave Shadow Box, which is pretty insane when you think about it.

The big drawcard of course is the 1992 Batman minifigure, which has only featured in two sets before this polybag (and the Batcave Shadowbox), 761390 1989 Batmobile and 76161 1989 Batwing which were 2 very large and expensive sets.I’m still somewhat in shock that this is also the same minifigure as the one from the Batcave Shadowbox, but LEGO does need to be given credit for not gating an ultra-exclusive version of the 1992 Batman behind an expensive set that a vast majority of fans might not be able to afford.
