About this deal

In this, his first autobiography, Jordan reveals how an early love for the game as a kid became an all-consuming passion growing up in Sunderland and the moments and role models that encouraged him to follow his dream to play for his home club. Jordan Henderson is without doubt my favourite active player, and as a Liverpool fan I enjoyed reading this - he has had an amazing career and rise, overcoming many setbacks and spanning a number of dramatic events and twists during his time at Liverpool. I really enjoyed this book, it has opened my eyes to the world of football and some of the players in it. charts his career of more than a decade and counting at Anfield from when he first signed for the Reds in 2011, a spell that has included 463 appearances and seven trophies so far during his tenure as captain.

The book is extremely ordinary, like the interviews footballers give after matches which lack proper substance. This was a brilliantly emotive book from start to finish and an interesting insight into his life, career, and dreams. But for me Jordan will always remain a quality player and captain who has shown his own way how to replace Steven Gerrard in the team. As a huge Hendo fan, I've always wanted to know more about him and how he manages to keep being Hendo in the face of all the people who just don't understand why he is so essential to any team he plays in.

And I think I admire him even more now for understanding a little more the physical and mental challenges he has been through to work to the top of a highly pressurised environment. Through injury and setbacks, both personal and professional, what emerges is the story of someone who frequently battled against the odds as well as his critics to achieve success for his club and supporters, someone for whom a passion for the game and for his team never wavered. Calendar arrived safely in plastic-free packaging - which I've not seen before with a calendar, so kudos for that. Jordan Henderson, MBE, is one of football's highest-profile players and has captained Liverpool FC since 2015.

In this book, Jordan charts his decade-long journey with the Reds, and a behind-the-scenes look at his life both on and off the pitch. The story of Jordan's journey from Sunderland to Liverpool, and becoming one of the most successful football leaders England has seen now available in paperback. As an avid Liverpool fan - much to my parents' chagrin - for 21 years now, and after reading https://www. The definitive autobiography from Liverpool captain, England star and renowned ambassador, Jordan Henderson - a must-read for every football fan.He is the only footballer to be named England Player of the Year twice, for the under 21s and then on the senior squad. There are no earth shattering exposes, and the book contained very little new information as a Liverpool supporter. Full of heartache, excitement and triumph, this is a candid insight into the life of a top-flight footballer as you've never read before. I can only assume this is due to him still being an active footballer for both his country and club.
