Strange question but I want to use magnets to attach material to the outside to the cage to help keep some mess in! This is an extremely popular metal cage with ladders and platforms, suitable for Chinchillas, Degus, Rats, Ferret and other small animals. Our rat hammocks work very well in the Little Zoo Venturer cage which is available as a lower half Venturer cage on wheels if you only have 1 or 2 pet rats or Chinchillas. Another downside is that it is difficult to hang hammocks on the bottom floor as the upper base doesn't have bars under it.

And it is super sturdy so there won't be any escapes once I've moved my monster ratties into it, the only reason I give it a three is because it was a pain in the neck to put up, instructions are rubbish and the cage is heavy and godly to put up, also the people who made it forgot to drill holes in the metal for some prongs to fit into, so we had to hammer it into place and now it looks slightly wonky. The trays aren't an issue for me as I use a thin layer of substrate and then add a deep digging box, plus my girls don't bother chewing them.

Yeah I have the money for the Savic if necessary, I don't mind spending it if it really is worth the extra, I just don't really see the point in paying double if it's the same. What people tend to do is to extend the half shelves into full ones, which makes a great space which is OK for 4 degus.Liberta Explorer cage complete with a full set of splash guards on both cage base levels and 1" deep steel trays. I've heard a few people say bad things about the plastic bottom in the Liberta Explorer but also heard some really good reviews. You may want to upgrade with some extra small animal accessories such as a saucer wheel or add some extra animal drinking bottles. Some mention that it was easy to assemble, while others say that it wasn't easy to follow the instructions and that it took several hours to fit together.What I've done is used both half levels that come with the cage, ome in its normal halfway place, the other sitting on the lowest horizontal rung and then put a full level above it so that I could maximise the space while still fitting in my two 14" wheels (see the post quoted below).
