About this deal

That sample had previously appeared on “***Flawless”, a song taken from Beyoncé’s game-changing self-titled album, released in 2013. So, when I started reading this book, I was like : Such a thick book for someone not that BIG on my list?

I enjoyed reading a coherent account of the mysterious superstar's life which I have observed from a distance through interview clips and magazine interviews since I was a child. Taraborrelli has gone into the depths of the ocean that is Beyonce's life and there are countless lessons that can be learnt and wisdom that can be gained from indulging in this book. He also appears on television as an entertainment news reporter on shows such as Entertainment Tonight, Good Morning America, Today and CBS This Morning. Even in the beginning she had a little “bow down bitches” deep down as she seems non-plussed about it all and handles it in a cold “it’s just business manner. Beyoncé continues to inspire and demonstrate that dreams--no matter how big--can be achieved through hard work and determination. My only other criticism is that Taraborrelli is a fan and while I appreciated how that contributes to how respectfully he approached this story, I think his allegiance to Beyoncé didn't allow him to be truly objective, often coming to the singer's defence right after presenting a critique. Totally understand that Beyonce is a very private person but this book doesn't really give insight into who she is and what drives her.

Ofcourse ,once she is grown up, she separates from family, but still you could feel that vibe of strong family bonding all the way to the end of the book. While songs like “Run The World (Girls)”, “Formation” and “Freakum Dress” were designed to empower, tracks such as “1+1”, “If I Were A Boy” and “Pray You Catch Me” were more vulnerable, the often infallible Queen Bey laying out her insecurities for the world to see. I walked away from this book feeling more confused about who Beyonce is than I did before and suggest that others not expect any juicy details because they simply aren't included in this biography!Children, A Husband and a real life makes her a humble, loving, black woman who puts her Family first. I have every Destiny's Child album, concert dvd, video collection, and almost every magazine they appeared on or in.

It REALLY didn’t sit well with me how DC was handled to be a platform to push Beyoncé to the top, no matter who got kicked to the curb in the process.

Always in the news Beyonce is a clever, sassy performer who's kept her audience on their feet for over a decade and is a role model for her millions of fans the world over.
