Incidentally, Womanity is one of my favorite fragrances and Wave is NOTHING like Womanity, IMHO, as another reviewer suggested. The bamboo leaves and lavender provide a wave of freshness that extends along the skin to break in the tingling of the salt foam. All of the notes in this smell soft and vague and I get a bit of salt with the sweet which doesn't take away from the feel. There is something green and leafy alongside the sweet-but-fresh citrus based fruits, and it's annoying me that I can't place it. This one is beyond better because first of all no note is prominent and in consecuence disturbing to your nose.The heart is an aromatic base of lavender, cypress and soft neroli over a creamy, woody base of salt, driftwood, musk and sensual tonka bean. then I wore it to office and the citrus effect that comes with fresh spicy mix totally rejuvenated me and kind of I started a liking. Addendum: As this has dried it's actually changed again and is now projecting more and it smells exactly like the inside of a beach hut. Cliffside cypress, lavender and sun-drenched neroli makes up the heart, recreating the scent of the rustic California terrain. She waits for the magical moment when the sun starts hiding below the mountains and the horizon is coloured with an orange-pink nuance in the magnificent clear blue sky, the waves hit the shore with such a vigor that they create white foams.

This frag is screaming "Summer", "beach" and "swimming pool"- the moment it jumps your neck and slaps your face a couple of times with its aquatic hands. How to use: Hold the fragrance approx 5 inches away and spray your skin, focusing on pulse points (neck, wrists etc) and/or spray generously in front of you and walk through for a full coverage. I could smell those nice topnotes all through the life of the fragrance, and that keeps it fresh throughout.Perfume is great for work, outings, running errands, job interviews, attending school, college, TAFE and uni. Part of the Hollister Wave Collection, beautifully bright Hollister Wave for Her is a youthful fragrance inspired by the Californian sunset. later into the dry down it still maintains its freshness and overall lasts about 5 to 6 hours for me and the scent stays on your cloths for even longer. It does start with a typical blast of citrus, but the bamboo leaf jumps in and stays right up front.

I have horrible grammar and jump back and forth a little during some of these reviews but i like to try to give expectations and go a little further in with the images and situations i see these really shining. Soft floral and something that smells like freshly cut cucumbers which might not sound as good as it is.This fragrance will take you back to the beach under the summer sun, giving you that feeling of excitement. Great sillage and longitivity, but it's more green than water/wave/fresh, and much more adult that for the Hollister-youngs. It took me some hours to recognize, but the water from the swimming pool wouldnt wash the scent away. I wish I'd bought it earlier in Spring/Summer because it lasts a quite a bit longer than Canyon Escape (which I prefer but it has no longevity), so I look forward to wearing Wave next year from mid Spring or when we begin to have temperatures over 15C here in Denmark.
