About this deal

Our content is doctor approved and evidence based, and our community is moderated, lively, and welcoming. She was walking without any aid right around her first birthday, but she continued to use her Learning band walker frequently. In addition, the music quality should be improved and the song should be either lengthened or varied to avoid monotony.

Three play modes grow with children by introducing colors, shapes, letters and numbers and encouraging physical movement. This suggested age range may be based on what age range the manufacturer recommends will like the product best, or what age range is appropriate based on safety information and restrictions. As long as the baby laughs and smiles, which he does then I have to say that this toy is the best for babies who are just learning to get their way around a little bit! This is great to entertain a sitting child and help with standing/walking, especially the wheel restrictors. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. This three-in-one toy also includes five piano keys, activities that stimulate fine motor skills and a color-changing light-up dome to enhance learning. Grows with your child by easily transforming from a baby gym with dangling toys to a light-up activity panel and into a walker with speed control. My youngest son is now 14 months and my oldest is 3 yrs old and they both still love to play with this toy.

fun manipulatives develop fine motor skills as baby opens and closes Violet’s dog door, gives Scout a high five or plays on the piano. She loves pressing the buttons and the wheels have 2 settings so she is starting to taking steps with it and the best thing is I dont need to stand behind her. Wide legs, lockable wheels and non-slip wheels are all things that I've felt are lacking in the VTech product for years. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products. All the cool stuff on front that you see in the picture does move when the child pushes the walker, but doesn't respond to direct manipulation, which is kind of a bummer. The activity centre is great my friend had one and I borrowed hers but my daughter loves it so much I bought her one. The clip on our VTech didn't work properly so the plate kept falling off (Nanny's one doesn't behave this way); on the Leapfrog walker the plate clips off and on from the sides (very easy to do).

Now, I did try to switch the sides so that the dials would be away from him and this is the design flaw - you can't. It folds (actually the "legs" detach then reattach elsewhere) for easy storage (either between children or in your playroom). As a former teacher, I have a special place in my heart for anything for kids that can both entertain and teach. We got that walker as a hand me down, my sister only used it for one baby and it has stopped working. It makes for a very interesting review, mainly because Lara and her cousins have been using a version of the VTech walker at their grandparent's house ever since their first days so it is a product they recognise and have grown up with - a challenge for any new product to compete with. manipulative features include piano keys, a phone, peek-a-boo door, book page, bead spinner, high-five paw, toy gears and two dangling toys. It is quite stable and sturdy for little ones to push without trouble, but the keyboard on it doesn't respond to their exploration. To make it more versatile, it would be better if it transformed into a ride-on toy so that it was useful for a longer period of time.

On Nanny's VTech (which is many many years old) the wheels have worn and become shiny with age so it only moves cleanly on a carpet that offers quite a lot of resistance. But a baby laying under it might get fed up as it does not play long enough unless you press the buttons. It is a toy that grows with your children, can take abusive play (haha) and the sound quality is great. The Leapfrog Baby Walker boasts 5 features that make it stand apart from the VTech walker and they are all things that make me, as a parent, very happy. Safety Information: Please remove all packaging attachments, and any other components which are not a part of the toy, before giving this product to a child.

As the weeks went by of us using it he is standing with it alot more and even learning to kind of walk with it too! it also features three play modes for listening to music, playing learning games and getting active.
