About this deal

It might end up being an expensive option, but the quality and sheer volume of songs on offer mean it’s money well spent. We upgraded to this from a normal CD based karaoke machine and we are so happy we did, it’s completely blown us away. Perfect for upgrading any night-in or family get-together, a karaoke machine is an excellent way to get the party started. With its light weight and ergonomic handle, transporting this device is no hassle at all – and, unlike some of the machines on this list, it's small enough to be stowed away out of sight when the party finishes. And if you want to crank the fun factor up to 11, look out for things such as disco lights and the ability to record your performances.

Essentially a karaoke machine and DJ mixer in one, it’s super quick and easy to set up and manages to pack in a huge amount of features – so much so, that we’re still discovering more, weeks into testing. You can read the lyrics straight off your phone or you can stream them onto your telly to get the whole group involved.

obsession is real and our four-year-old tester couldn’t wait to get her hands on this diva karaoke microphone. However, it might get a bit complex if you’re sending the video signal from laptop to TV via HDMI and running the audio analogue cables to the TV’s speakers. If live music is more your thing, you can even plug a guitar into the speaker for some collaborative karaoke.
