As its sprayable, it also needs to be of low viscosity and will be runnier than other traditional paints. Its special pigments ensure a rich colour and allow the natural texture of the wood grain to shine through. If using more than one can it is advisable to mix them together in a container or finish in a corner before starting a new can. Overspraying surrounding areas can be minimized by avoiding spraying in windy conditions and by using cardboard or plastic as a shield.

Special pigments ensure a rich colour and allow the natural texture of the woodgrain to shine through. Remove any algae, lichen or fungi using an appropriate fungicidal wash or clearner designed for the job. On areas subject to wear, such as garden furniture, allow a few days before heavy use or contact with soft furnishings. Please note some larger products are delivered to kerb-side (the street outside your home), it is at the drivers discretion if they can deliver the item to another location on the property. Garden Shades is a water based product, so an application of water and detergent should provisionally be used.The product will still achieve good opacity in 2 coats over a similar colour, although deeper colours may require a third coat.
