About this deal

The lawyer said firefighters found 20 cannabis plants, which was "a fairly low grade number", and there had been a "considerable delay" in proceedings. He said Bennett lived on his own but mixed with other people who smoked cannabis and had become "a heavy user", who shared the drug with friends.

Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). But as firefighters tried to put out the flames, the 46-year-old arrived and started loading cannabis plants into a pickup truck. Shooters was first shown on Channel 4 in 2000 and was a dark mix of fiction and reality, set around the murky Liverpool underworld. I must admit, however, I don't know why it's an 18 certificate, there is very little violence and that which is shown is either off-screen or very brief. The actors are (or were at the time) all members of the Liverpool criminal class and that lends a chunk of authenticity to the production. It’s essentially a drama, but the project had its basis in the director wanting to make a documentary about gangsters in Liverpool… Except perhaps unsurprisingly not even Scouse hoods are so stupid as to go on camera and talk about their daily ‘working’ lives. But when the big man later gets linked to the drug-related death of a rival gangster, things begin to get out of hand. The film also portrayed the day-to-day life of a gangster, the flash cars, cocaine, guns and casual violence. The Film is set in Liverpool and used local criminals as actors depicting the lives of local 'gangsters .

Later in the film their is an amazing plot twist which had me "On the edge of my seat" when I realised what was going on. He said Bennett only answered questions about items retrieved in his house, some of which were of "considerable value". Review "I haven't seen anything that could match it for realism apart from reality itself" --The Independent"Reed's decision to cast real-life gangsters pays off superbly" --DVD Review"A fantastic film of sheer horror.

Movie that opened doors to a new career; LEADER: PADDY SHENNAN speaks to three former Liverpool doormen who, thanks to a twist of fate, are now carving out new careers in the acting profession.

A doorman turned gangster flick actor tried to load his crop of cannabis plants into a pickup truck as firefighters tackled a blaze at his home, a court has heard.

This scene is the nauseous aftermath of a shooting carried out by a motley crew of drugdealing doormen. It’s pretty darn good, up there with Penny Woolcock‘s Tina series for films that use non-professional actors.
