Also, the illustrations were wonderful really bringing to life the feeling of shape and movement that Zaha saw and placed in her designs. That said, I look forward to seeing more from the team who put this together because creating a story about an architect that works pretty well is no easy feat! She saw beauty and art in nature and in building and couldn't pass a construction site without stopping to sketch it. This book does her a great honor, first in that she's being introduced to young people who get to grow up knowing she existed and her amazing buildings remain, and second in that the book is charming, warm, and encouraging.I could see many students, as I did, looking up these buildings online to see what they look like now and then looking up any additional information they could find.
