If you are looking for a running shoe capable of offering greater support and stability while running, the Brooks Transcend 7 is perfect for you! The GuideRails are designed to keep you moving forward without excess movement, with the intent of protecting the knees.

Comfort and stability mix nicely here for a plush feel that allows you to enjoy a nice long run or an easy recovery day. Very slight tweaks to the upper, no changes to the outsole, and subtle, but important shifts in the midsole set it apart from its slightly lighter brother. You have GuideRails in the Glycerin GTS 19 and you have a neutral support system in the Glycerin 19. In the last year I’ve run 10+ miles more than 60 times, so safe to say I know how my legs should feel during and after a longer run, and this was a unique and unpleasant experience.

It's not overly intrusive which is great because the thickness of memory foam around the internal heel collar is just about perfect.
