It was really good to hear Numan back on form and the following tour was also successful, the only downside was that it took 6 years for a follow up. Easily my favourite Gary Numan record, so very slightly biased, especially remembering how incredible the live tour was for this album.

This album is fabulous listened to in the dark it really is very atmospheric and I can't recommend it highly enough. While both "Sacrifice" and "Exile" are good albums that helped bring Gary some long awaited credibility "pure" is the album that it all came together.
