About this deal

This electric pump was not included in our test, but according to the manufacturer, this inflatable electric air pump fills up a board in about 10 minutes. The Thurso pump can inflate up to 15 psi and also has a deflate function. Multiple adapters: The pump comes with valves for various inflatable objects. To get a precise fit, use the O-ring that comes with the hand pump for your paddle board. Carry bag included: The Ventus comes with a robust carry bag to keep the pump and accessories together. The Acoway inflatable stand-up paddleboard is the perfect choice for anyone looking to learn how to surf on a budget. This inflatable paddle board offers very good water stability, which makes it a perfect choice for beginners. Maneuverability

Given it’s overall design, it’s better suited for some recreational paddling on calm waters, hence the “cruising oriented”, and not so much for the more extreme areas of sup such as white water river riding, surfing, racing or the like where you’d want more control over its maneuverability and/or speed. This one’s rather for, again, cruising, yoga, fishing, etc, the more calmer SUP activities. Fast to inflate and deflate: The Shark II got the second spot in my speed tests, inflating my board in under 8 minutes. Either way, a one-layer construction is perfect for casual recreational padding, mainly considering that this one is knowingly built for just that, making sense that the building in line with it is used (fishing, yoga, casual cruising of flat waters).

When it comes to stability, the Acoway 10’6 iSUP is designed more for balance rather than speed and maneuverability. The length width ratio makes it gravitate more towards being stable is why. Speed and maneuverability I’d describe as “cruising speed” (same with maneuverability). The rectangular rounded tail and the 3 fins only add to the fact. The weight limit for this board is 400 lbs. It is sufficient for you, your pet, two lighter people, and maybe kids. Users have noticed that this SUP needs more PSI of about 15-22 PSI than other boards, but it takes more effort and time to inflate it. Therefore, an electric pump is preferred as it saves energy and time. It comes with a manual pump that is exhausting to acquire to 15 PSI. Speed is also another important factor. There are slow electric paddle board pumps out there. So while you won’t get tired inflating your SUP, the process may take longer than it would have with a hand pump.

This is an inflatable board which means it’s filled with air (and you can deflate it, roll it up, and store away, too). It is provided with a generic simple hand pump which has a pressure gauge on top. The recommended max PSI should be 15, but 12 to 14 is fine as well. Note however that there’s some disparities in information where they even recommend 15 to 22 PSI which would imply that the board has a very solid construction, though to me it looks like a very typical cheap build instead, so… Going over 15 might be stretching the limits with this one and shorten its lifespan considerably, but what do I know. Overheating is the major cause of SUP pumps breaking. The internal temperature sensor of the Seamax SUP20D prevents your pump from overheating and turns the pump off when it gets too hot.

The OutdoorMaster electric air pump inflated my demo board in under 8 minutes. It also deflates in a minute or less. When using your electric pump, avoid placing it on concrete, sand, and other rough surfaces. Dirt may get in and jam the motor. The pump could also get scratched. c. Lift the Air Valve First So it is not so much the construction standard as it is about customer support and warranty because affordable iSUPs tend to get borked more simply. When nobody is dealing with them, you are left alone with those issues, which is a problem. More so, it’s just fit for its price tag. This board’s stability and proper functionality are other qualities that riders are happy about.

The Seamax SUP20D has a thermal sensor that turns the pump off if it’s running too hot. It inflates up to 15 Psi which makes it perfect for SUPs. It inflates at a high pressure until your iSUP is as rigid as it can be. The Sevylor is the fastest electric air pump in the test and inflated my demo board in a little under 7 minutes. Slow to inflate: The Nixy was slower than other models, taking just over 9 minutes to inflate the test board.Acoway SUP is a good option for touring, yoga, and fishing.
