DIN is a measurement used to govern sizes of car radios and the standardization of the wiring plugs. All you need to know is what size yours is. If it looks like a letterbox opening, it’s single-DIN. If it looks like a chunky squarish shape, it’s double-DIN. Simply plug the CD player into the vehicle’s USB port and control it as you would a USB media device. Basically I've turned it off, removed the CD that was in the player, plugged in the cable as it came (set up for the AUX pin-out: COM, AF-L, AF-R). I didn't expect this to work because I've not had the Aux enabled at a dealership. It didn't work. Most tablets and laptops also have Bluetooth, so you can stream audio from these devices through a Bluetooth radio. Pairing the two devices is usually very easy, so Bluetooth can be a convenient feature to have. Most of the radios reviewed above are mains-only, so you can’t use them with batteries.
