About this deal

Please note: ColourB4 Ultimate will help to remove unwanted colour and lighten the hair, however depending on the condition of your hair, and if it has previously been coloured it may not completely remove the colour.

It is a lengthly process and to be fair if you are like me, it doesn’t end here! I then apply a semi permanent straight after using Colour B4 to my hair – but as this was for the purposes of a review and how to use it I dried it to see the results. If you are using a semi permanent colour afterwards that does contain peroxide (Usually ones that lasts more than 6 washes etc) I recommend doing the following; Here’s my hair minus the clip to show you how its worked. You hair at this point is by NO MEANS FINISHED!!! We have a lot of work to do yet. As well as following our guide closely, there are a few important tips to remember when dyeing your hair grey or silver: For our darker-haired ladies, a more golden or strawberry blonde hue can complement olive skin tones beautifully. If, like us, you don't always play by the rules and want to push the ‘two shades lighter’ boundary, we’ve expertly crafted a dye that lightens dark brown hair by up to eight shades – aptly named Extreme Platinum Blonde. It removes both permanent and semi permanent colour, and also helps to remove build up – perfect if you have been colouring your hair for years.Once rinsed, apply half the bottle of the buffer solution and work it into the hair as you would a normal shampoo. The Scott Cornwall hair colour remover is bleach and ammonia free. It’s gentle and safe on your hair. While bleach colour removers leave your hair feeling dry and flaky, this one doesn’t affect the condition and health of your hair. SECONDLY: If your hair is heat damaged, the process may not work. So if you use very hot styling products (over 230 degrees), chances are your hair is too badly damaged for the product to be effective. So... how does it feel being blonde? To our bronde and platinum bombshells, and every shade in between, we hope you’re loving your new colour. Permanent hair dye replaces some of your natural hair colour molecules with artificial colour molecules. So what a hair colour remover does is get inside your hair shafts and dissolves the bonds holding the colour molecules together. It also shrinks the molecules.

Here they are. Anyone who has menstruated before will be aware of how diverse the colour of period blood can be – and whether it fascinates you, scares you, or makes you feel nothing at all, there’s actually a lot you can learn from the shade of your period. Then you will need to massage the buffer lotion from bottle C into your hair (You will need to do this twice so as a rule I use about half of it for this time) and leave it working for 1 minute. I would recommend this product to others who want to remove darker shades from their hair. However, I will always point out that it can not undo bleaching. It is true that Colour B4 doesn’t smell great – though the smell is not as bad as I was expecting. If you’re using one of our Bronde kits, apply the dye straight to the wide comb to take you from brunette to a lustrous bronde. Start applying the product about 2-3cm from the roots and, like balayage, focus the application on your lengths and tips for a low maintenance transformation that doesn’t need a monthly root top-up. The next step was to apply the buffer, leave it for 1 minute and then rinse for at least 5 minutes. I did this, but rinsed for another 10 minutes – just to be thorough. Aqua, Sodium Oxymethylene Sulfoxylate, Polysorbate 80, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Glycerin, Benzyl Alcohol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone,Remover - Bottle B: Aqua, Citric Acid, Cetearyl Alcohol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Glycerin, Polysorbate 80, Parfum, Benzyl Alcohol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, CI42090, CI19140 FDC,Buffer - Bottle C: Aqua, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Coco-Sulfate, Glycerin, Sodium Lauryl Glucose Carboxylate, Lauryl Glucoside, Decyl Glucoside, Disodium Phosphate, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Parfum, Benzyl Alcohol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Sodium Chloride, CI16255 This is another hair colour remover designed to work on both permanent and semi-permanent dye. Like the Colour B4 permanent and semi-permanent remover, it also smells somewhat awful. It will be some days before the smell is out of your hair. This is a safe and effective way to remove colour from your hair. It will gently strip away dyed colour from your hair without using bleach products, which is a great bonus and will protect your hair from damage.

Period blood comes in many different shades and it’s totally normal to see some variation on the colour front. There isn’t one particular shade that’s associated with healthy periods, says Dr Hoffman. You have now removed the unwanted colour from your hair. You may be looking a little brassy or maybe it looks just right. Sometimes its easier to dry it first and see. While most hair colour removers require that you wait several days or even weeks before you apply new colour, you can re-colour your hair immediately after using the L’OREAL ColorZap colour remover. In fact, L’OREAL advices that you plan to re-dye your hair immediately.

I did not leave mine the full hour namely as I know my hair and felt after 45 minutes this was adequate. If in doubt always follow the manufacturers guidelines – they are there for a reason. Once you’ve achieved your gorgeous grey look, you’ll want to maintain it. Replace your regular shampoo with a silver shampoo that’s specially formulated to give clarity and shine to grey and silver hair. Make sure you use a toner after bleaching, before you apply the dye. This will reduce any yellow tones in your hair and is a must if you want to achieve a gorgeous grey or silver look. The issue I have with XXL is it contains a huge amount of sillicone which isn't a problem, unless you use straightening irons over 200 degrees in heat. Then the sillicone hits it's boiling point and melts inside the hair. Then nothing can ever get the stuff out – not even bleach. After you have rinsed the hair for at least 5 minutes, apply half of the contents of Part C Buffer. Lather up well and leave for 1 minute to absorb. After this minute has elapsed continue rinsing the hair with warm water for a further 5 minutes. 6. FINAL BUFFER AND RINSE Get your hair to its lightest possible colour before you apply the grey hair dye. You may need to bleach it more than once before it’s light enough, which is why it’s important to ensure hair is as hydrated as possible before bleaching. If you have previously bleached or lightened your hair, ColourB4 Ultimate is unable to return your hair to its natural pigment. If you have applied a very dark or fashion colour (such as vribrant red or purple) to bleached, porous or grey hair, the cuticle may have been permanently stained. ColourB4 Ultimate cannot remove cuticle staining.
