The Hogwarts Monthly Magazine was founded by a 2nd year Gryffindor witch at Hogwarts, Hiya Debnath, in lieu of facilitating the easy spread of information, news and entertainment in the Hogwarts Castle.
The library books have various spells on them to prevent students from defacing or stealing them (QA). Chocolate (and presumably other food) is forbidden in the library ( OP29). Madam Pince is the kind of librarian who sees herself as the guardian and protector of the books, at odds with the students who try to use them. Her demeanor does not suggest that she would be very helpful. In fact, when Hermione, Ron, and Harry were looking for information about Nicolas Flamel, they decided they wouldn’t even ask her. Research must be very difficult in the Hogwarts library. Step onto iconic sets including the Great Hall, the Forbidden Forest, Platform 9¾ and Diagon Alley. What props will I see?
The Turf Tavern is not an Oxford Harry Potter filming location but was a location where the actors and crew would visit for a drink or dinner after filming. If you’re anything like me, any beautiful old library will make you immediately exclaim “IT’S LIKE HOGWARTS!“

Jigger taught the Defence Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts for eight years before deciding to transition to traveling and writing full-time. His experience at the Ministry made him particularly anxious to emphasize the responsibility of witches and wizards as regards the use of their spells in a magical and non-magical world. Following his retirement from Hogwarts, he traveled to the Far East, Africa, Oceania, and the Americas, taking notes on defensive magic and potions as he traversed the globe. In Professor Dumbledore’s office, you’ll find 900 memory vials. There’s over 950 filled potion jars lining the walls of the Potions Classroom. In Professor Dolores Umbridge’s pink office, you’ll find her collection of plates featuring various moving kittens. What about the costumes? The beautiful Hogwarts Express steam train, Hagrid joyfully waving you off at the end of the school year… Like, how am I drowning in nostalgia over events that didn’t even happen?

One of the bonus Harry Potter things to do in Oxford has to be to watch a game of Quidditch. You read that right, did you know that there is an Oxford Universities Quidditch Club?! After overhearing them and Corey Hayden discussing wandless magic, she angrily confronted the pair and gave them both detention in the kitchens as punishment.
