About this deal

Forge World also has some treats for Horus Heresy players with two new upgrade sets for two Legions, all available in resin. Salamanders MKVI Upgrades The rules for this kill team can be found in the Nachmund book. Read our guide for playing these piratical Aeldari here. Phobos Strike Team The rules for this kill team can be found in the Shadowvaults book. Read our guide for these Imperial elites here. Necron Hierotek Circle

As well as the books, there are also two terrain sets coming out that cover the different options that were made available during the release of the boxed sets. There is one for Shadowvaults... Based on the prices of the Kill Team: Phobos Strike Team, Kill Team: Corsair Voidscarred, Kill Team: Novitiates, Kill Team: Pathfinders and Kill Team: Kommandos. As such, there’s been something of a theme with the terrain in the recent Kill Team boxes. See, dear readers, the new way to play Kill Team is to sic your teams on each other in the randomised and tightly-wound corridors of said Space Hulk; Gallowdark. So, the box provides you with everything you need to make said corridors. The Crimson Duellist is a close combat specialist, armed with a Splinter Pistol (see above) and the Razorflail, which hits on a 2+, does 5 critical damage, has the Brutal Special Rule and the unique Flail Special Rule, thich discards two of your opponent’s succesful hits rather than one every time you parry with it. There are plenty of extra options in this kit to add variety – extra heads, multiple build options for each body, and most arm options can be used on any operative. The Battle Report team have donned their voidsuits on Warhammer+ this week, and are once more heading into the twisted depths of the Gallowdark for a battle between the Adeptus Arbites and the Hand of the Archon. We’ve also heard hooves scraping over in the Loremasters studio, as they prepare for an episode all about the braying Beasts of Chaos.

This lets your Concealed friendly operatives stay Concealed no matter what, even when factoring in enemy operatives at Vantage Points or other similar rules. It requires your operatives to be within Square/3 Inches of your drop zone and more than Pentagon/6 inches from the operative making its activation, and it lasts for one Turning Point. Tactical Ploys Cruel Deception Add some themed dice to your collection for your Kill Team of choice, with sets coming for the Arbites Exaction Squad, Drukhari Hand of the Archon, Navy Breachers and Farstalker Kinband.Which weapon you choose is up to you and your playstyle, but you definitely shouldn’t miss out on bringing a Heavy Gunner in your kill team. Kabalite Skysplinter Assassin (1 per kill team)

Like all non-Leader operatives in the Hand of the Archon kill team, the Agent has 8 Wounds and a Save of 4+, which isn’t too vulnerable, but definitely not especially tough either. Kabalite Crimson Duellist (1 per kill team) This month’s issue of White Dwarf is a Boarding Actions bonanza, containing new rules for this exciting new Warhammer 40,000 format. There’s information on Boarding Pods, Void Sieges, and Iron Warriors Bronzewrought Boarding Patrols. Alongside that, there’s a Battle Report in which the World Eaters attempt to free Khârn the Betrayer from a voidship, loads of Gloomspite Gitz content for Warcry, and all the usual articles and features to cover every angle of Warhammer.* Both weapons are good, but with some of the other sources of multiple target damage you already have in your kill team, the Blaster might be preferable. Just remember the Darklight weapons restriction! Kabalite Heavy Gunner (1 per kill team) A full army of new Seraphon are even now hatching from the spawning pools, but there’s a sneaky vanguard of Chameleon Skinks arriving next week. Nearly impossible to pin down thanks to their camouflage, the Hunters of Huanchi harass foes with dartpipes and bolas, all the while supported by their loyal Terrawings. They can be used as a Warcry warband or as a regular unit in games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. The scenery in this box is a bit less generic than what’s in the Chalnath box, but the kill teams are both very cool, with Legionary team especially offering many different ways to play.

These Daemons of Khorne are proof that not every dog is a good dog. Flesh Hounds are the canine incarnation of wanton slaughter , and as such they’re no longer welcome at Imperial dog parks. Squig Hound The Adeptus Arbites are the Imperium’s top cops, and when the High Lords of Terra really want someone apprehended, they turn to the Exaction Squads. These are impossibly severe squads of Arbites with specialist training, sophisticated equipment, and enough muscle to rumble with the galaxy’s most wanted.
