I had a hard time choosing a rating for this one. Like a previous poetry collection I read by the same author, the poems are very personal. Majority of the poems are based off of people they knew or met, or of herself, so it is difficult to rate something very personal. Beyond creatively designing a sign to make, there is a whole world of cute sayings, spooky sayings, and funny Halloween quotes that can step up your game this year. It’s divided into 12 sections, one for each zodiac sign, and even has a cute “forward” and “how to read” section. I am a huge fan of Michaela’s writing and a big fan of astrology, so this book was a delight to read for me! I laughed, cried, and reflected while reading the poems. Additional therapies used to treat POEMS syndrome include lenalidomide, thalidomide and bortezomib depending on a patient’s disease course. Other treatment such as physical therapy and medications to relieve swelling can help with improving mobility and other symptoms of POEMS syndrome. This needed way more shaping and editing.
