Pistol grip spotlights: Pistol grip spotlights are my personal favorite because they’re easier to aim, especially if you’re in areas with large elevation differences. For applications like spotting deer, night fishing, and boating, I generally prefer a pistol grip spotlight. Being able to hold the light out in front of you just feels more natural for most people.
