Both units are designed and built well but I have to give the edge in this department to the SpiderPro with its all metal design. This heavy duty feel does come at a price however, with the system actually costing and weighing more overall. While the Capture is no slouch by any means, it just didn’t feel as solid. The low profile features of the Spider Mirrorless Plate are designed to accommodate the wide variety of smaller mirrorless camera bodies. Because of this, the Mirrorless Plate only has a pin on the right side. The raised tab on the Action Grip has a built-in 1/4”-20 threaded mount which can be paired with one of our Spider Pins (sold separately). The Grip + Pin combination works great for carrying around a heavier gimbal setup on one of our other Spider Camera Holsters. Pairs with SpiderMonkey Base Clips and Studio Assistants. The SpiderMonkey Studio Assistant uses built-in velcro to attach to the leg of any studio light or tripod.

This product is designed to hold light weight camera accessories up to 1lb / 16oz. This is product is not designed for carrying your camera. ANTI-SLIP RUBBER PADS: Built-in rubber pads on camera plate assist with preventing rotation and loosening of the product after install. This is definitely more convenient than cameras dangling from shoulders. It also relieves you from the weight better during longer use as opposed to a harness. You can also use the camera lens belt holster to carry an additional lens on the other side if you attach it by the tripod mount.
