About this deal

The very small digital number in the top left of the screen is called the “Peak Measurement”. This shows the highest peak that has been measured and holds that value for 3 seconds, or until a higher peak is measured. For people like us who are measuring devices to see how much radiation they emit, we don’t need to know the average. Since it is so compact it can easily be carried with you. You can even set it up on a battery save mode that will still beep when it detects you are in unsafe levels of EMF radiation. The only cons I can see about this meter is as I said above it looks more complicated to operate for a person new to these meters. Buttons do multiple things depending on how many times you press the button. If you know what your doing, and what each reading is, I think it would be great. But I can see new people might get confused. Based on my own conclusions after hours of research on the topic, I’ve formed my own opinion and conclusion as to what I believe are unsafe levels of radiation, and those are: Well that is kind of how I felt using the TriField meter for RF Radiation the first time. I am used to a directional meter where you know wherever the meter is pointing, that is where the RF Radiation is coming from. But as long as you pay attention to the levels of radiation you can tell which direction to go anyway.

I won’t go too in-depth about the product in this post, because I already wrote up a full review of Trifield TF2, however, I do want to give you a good understanding of why I love this EMF meter so much, and why it is the one I find myself using for just about everything. Magnetic field meters can be used to analyze the potential health effects of magnetic field exposure and to locate sources of excessive magnetic field levels in homes and workplaces. Magnetic field meters are used to measure the strength of magnetic fields emitted by a variety of sources, including power lines and electrical wiring. These meters are used to examine the potential health concerns connected with prolonged magnetic field exposure, which has been related to an increased risk of cancer and other health issues. Key features of magnetic field meters Each of the following EMF meters was chosen based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to:

The peak percentage indicator works just like the field percentage indicator, and shows the maximum measurement on an arc display on the screen. Like many of us these days, you've got a home office setup. You've got your computer, maybe an extra monitor or two, the Wi-Fi router buzzing away in the corner, and your phone on the desk. It's prime EMF territory. Any EMF Meter that has the capability of reading radio frequency radiation is capable of detecting WiFi, since WiFi is a type of radio frequency transmission. You’ll notice, if you set your EMF Meter to the RF setting, that your home WiFi router will likely emit a large amount of this type of radiation. Price –Obviously the most obvious benefit of the Meterk EMF meter is its extremely low cost. There are a few reasons for this, with the largest being the fact that it is developed and manufactured in China, so they are able to produce it at a very low cost. This can also be a bit of a con, which we’ll talk about below. Sensitivity – To start with, the Acoustimeter is one of the most sensitive RF meters on the market, capable of reading even the smallest amounts, of the lowest radio frequencies and displaying them. Not only that, but it also has fantastic directional sensitivity. This will allow you to easily locate the direction that the largest RF radiation sources are coming from by simply moving your Acoustimeter in a circle and watching the display to see peak readings.

I chose the below video for you only because it shows the correct meter. The brand has changed since the video was filmed however. This video is not very informative, so you will want to read my pros and cons about it in this section below. But it does show the meter working so you get a look at it in action.

Will It Measure 5G Radiation?

Another tip is to measure at different times of the day. EMF levels can differ depending on when the measurements are taken and the number of electronic devices in use. Take readings in the morning, afternoon, and evening to get a better understanding of the EMF exposure throughout the day. No reading or maxed out reading Great Manual – The Latnex comes with a very detailed user manual ( see that here) that really comes in handy. I find the manual to be even more thorough than the manuals that come with some of the higher quality meters.

This reminds me, when you were a kid did you ever play The Warmer-Colder Game? That is the game where you hide something and another person then looks for it. As they get closer to the item you say “you are getting warmer”, and as they go the wrong direction you say “you are getting colder”. Do you remember that game? This meter connects by USB to your computer or tablet (Free PC/MAC/Android Software). It has advanced features for viewing real-time values and histograms. It will record data over time as well as connect to Google maps and record over geographical areas. And you can export this data into spreadsheets for analysis. For one, you might find that your Trifield Meter's needle swings quite a bit. Don't worry; it's not your device being moody. EMFs can fluctuate, so a bit of swing is entirely normal. My advice? Take several readings and consider the average. High or low readings Not Tri-Axis – Whereas many of the EMF meters on this list have tri-axis capability (meaning they will get an accurate reading regardless of orientation), the Meterk requires that the sensor (located on the right-hand side) is pointed towards the source of the radiation to obtain an accurate reading. The top right is the battery power indicator, when it reaches one bar it is time to replace the batteries. If you are measuring EMF radiation from any conductive body, like the human body, be sure to use the weighted version of the magnetic field or electric field sensor settings. What the weighted version does, is it applies a more sensitive reading to anything above 60 Hertz. So, although the price point is fairly high for this meter, if you’re wanting a meter that can do it all, with an impressive full-color display, and the apparent ability to read 5G radiation sources, then the new Latnex AF-5000 might be a great option for you.

Easy To Use – With a simple display and 7 nicely labeled buttons, the Latnex is a breeze to operate. Latnex EMF Meter Cons Lastly, let's chat about maintenance. Your Trifield Meter is a sturdy device, but like all electronics, it deserves some care. Keep it away from extreme temperatures and high humidity. If you've used it in a dusty environment, a gentle wipe down with a dry cloth can keep it looking and working like new. Also, remove the battery if you're not planning on using the meter for a while. What is a Trifield Meter Used For? COMPATIBLE — Especially good to connect, layer, and tape together Atmosure Faraday Fabric EMF shielding sheets or seal RF enclosures to achieve optimum results. The "Weighted" zone, marked in a darker blue, is more responsive to frequencies above 60 Hz, allowing it to measure the impact of EMF fields on conductive bodies like your own. However, for most typical uses, the standard settings will be your go-to. Peak Measurement Setting: The whole point of using a meter to measure RF Radiation is to know how high the bursts of radiation read. The easiest way to see that is to have the meter set on its Peak setting. Very important.Electricians, engineers, and health experts frequently utilize magnetic field met Features an audio component that emits a tone with variations in frequency and intensity correlating to the strength of the detected EMF Quality –I cannot say that the Meterk is made of the highest quality. I have owned it for quite a while without issue, but it is not from a long-standing reputable company like Trifield, Acoustimeter, or Cornet. This also means that the accuracy is likely to be less reliable than these higher quality meters. Final Thoughts On The Meterk EMF Meter Before the Trifield TF2 came out, I often recommended the Trifield 100XE in my articles because it was the meter I found myself using most often, and I truly believed it to be one of the best, and simplest EMF meters on the market. The 100XE measured magnetic field radiation that many EMF meters did not, was a mid-range priced EMF meter that I found quite accurate, very simple to operate, and seemed to last a very long time.
